TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. OBEDIENCE TO GOD STANDS SUPREME AND AS SUCH COMES FIRST IN THE LIFE OF THE CHRISTIAN. THIS OBVIOUSLY COMES AT A COST AND DEFINITELY HAS CONSEQUENCES. HOWEVER, IT REMAINS FOREVER THE MARK OF AUTHENTIC CHRISTIANITY. TO BE A TRUE CHRISTIAN YOU MUST ALWAYS OBEY GOD RATHER THAN MEN AND EVERYTHING OPPOSED TO GOD'S WILL INCLUDING THE SELF.
