TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. Jesus Christ, knowing we all need a guide, promises to ask God the Father send us the Counselor (cf. John 14:16). As God's children, the need for a godly and God-given guide is inevitable. We need both the Divine Guide; the Holy Spirit, and a human guide; who is a veritable tool in the hand of the Holy Spirit. Who is your guide as you journey through life? Your guide, to a large extent, determines how much you're able to know in truth your destination and how much you're able to get to your destination.
