TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. We're meant to be companions on the journey of Life and not competitors in the world. The world is not meant to be a place of contest for human beings where each struggles to grab all that's to be grabbed in a bid to outdo all others. We're created to complement one another at all levels and units of human society. Whereas unhealthy competition among people results in chaos, conflict and underdevelopment, companionship and complementing one another birth peaceful coexistence, a virtuous society and sustainable development.
