TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. The battle for the rescue and freedom of the Israelites from Egypt was literally a battle for supremacy since Pharaoh flouted himself as the God of Egypt and of the world. God introduces himself as THE I AM THAT I AM (OR SIMPLY THE I AM) to announce HIMSELF as the SUPREME GOD OF THE UNIVERSE (THE SUPREME GOD OF ALL TIME, OF ALL PEOPLE AND OF ALL ENVIRONMENT) and as such THE ACTUAL RULER OF THE UNIVERSE AS SUCH. May HE, against all odds, rule in your life and all that concerns you, bringing you the freedom, peace and blessings you desire of HIM through Christ Jesus our Lord (the second Moses). Amen.
