TODAY'S HOMILY IN BRIEF. For us believers, death is not an end of life but the point of transition from this transient world to eternity. Hence, in death, we transit from the temporary state of life to the eternal state of life. In today's celebration, we celebrate the hope we share in the resurrection of the dead as their death does not imply their annihilation but their transition into eternity. We therefore support them with our prayers today that they may all share in the eternal glory of God like all the saints.
