Thursday | 1/28/2021 | Kane County Law Enforcement Speaks: The State's Attorney, The Sheriff & HB3653
from Good Morning Aurora
The Kane County resident, unfamiliar with the language of legislation (legalese) yet inundated with laws, is entitled to facts. Facts, good information and as much assistance as necessary in matters of public safety. With so much misinformation surrounding Police Reform Bill HB3653 we were honored to hear from law enforcement. Kane County State's Attorney Jamie Mosser & Kane County Sheriff Ron Hain joined us today for a great discussion. Collective bargaining, ending cash bail and future duties of officers were all on the table. If you want to know what law enforcement “thinks about this bill”, you should watch this. This video is in full, and the only edits made were adjustments in sound & lighting. Good Morning Aurora appreciates the Kane County State’s Attorney & Sheriff’s office(s) for engaging with us again. We strive daily to be a vehicle for discussion and positive engagement for Aurora and all of Kane County. Shouts go out to Don’s Downtown Ink, Officer ‘Sully’ (APD), Deputy Brian (friend of the show), the Soto Family (APD) and all the good members of law enforcement. Shouts also go out to the 10 years of work done by the Illinois Congressional Black Caucus and all legislators involved in reform. Good Morning Aurora looks forward to highlighting all success that makes our community safe. Subscribe to the YouTube channel & stay tuned. Peace.
