Thursday 26 June 2025: Has referee abuse gone too far in community rugby?

On Sports Fix with Jason Pine and D'Arcy Waldegrave for 26th June 2025, Horowhenua Kapiti Rugby Football Union have taken the drastic step of cancelling all of their club rugby games this weekend after a referee was abused last week. College Sport Wellington have followed suit by deferring all Kapiti Coast Secondary School Rugby games this weekend. Executive Director of College Sport Wellington, Bryan Dickinson, joined the podcast to discuss what led to this decision and what changes they hope to see.
