Thursday, May 16, 2024 - EDIE, LIEV, OWEN, ALEC and ISSA - this grid is *brimming* with actors!!

Although today's' theme has nothing to do with actors, quite a few of them popped up in today's grid.There were some LOL clues / answers as well, and let us not gloss over some very nice pairings in the grid -- EDIE v. EDDY, LIEV v. ALEVE, those surely can't ONE, um, we mean ALL,  be coincidental!
