Jesus never promised that this life would be smooth sailing or problem-free. In fact, He often warned us of the opposite. He told us that we will have trouble, that the road is narrow, that our temptations will be many, and that Satan is prowling around like a roaring lion waiting to devour us. As Pastor Dan reminds us today, we need to stand guard. Maybe you feel this tension. As the earth groans and the return of our Savior nears, you’ll see greater sin and deeper division. But remember, Jesus wins!
