Christians should honor civil authority as part of loving our neighbors—paying what we owe, speaking respectfully, and living above reproach. Yet our highest allegiance is to the Lord; no human rule may claim what belongs to Him. When laws align with goodness, we obey gladly; when they demand compromise, we choose faithful resistance with humility, courage, and peace, accepting the cost if needed. And in today’s message, Pastor Dan will ask you to pray for wisdom to discern, strength to obey, and grace to witness well.
