Thy Kingdom Come (Part 1)

from The DCC Podcast · host Dayspring Christian Center

Today, Bishop Rodgers starts the new year off with a new series called "Thy Kingdom Come" from Matthew 6:10. The phrase "Thy Kingdom Come," means the one who has a right to rule and a right to reign, who is none other than the King Himself. The Kingdom of God is the moral and spiritual kingdom God is setting up in the world, whose subjects are as many as have been brought into subjection to His authority. God's program starts with a person. History is the redemptive unfolding of God's plan in the person of Jesus Christ. God's program is to exalt Christ. The kingdom is the heart of the matter. When we pray "Thy kingdom Come," we are praying that we relinquish the rule over our own life and we ask the Holy Spirit to take control, and to do what He will for His glory. Knowing this, we understand nothing else matters. We desire God's will for our life be manifested on this earth. We pray your new year will be filled with love, prosperity, and peace, good health.
