And we're back part two of episode two. So you guys are staring down this captain leader, bandit guy. What do you do? How do you start?

She's got a point. I find this thing and I ask her. You're losing it. I would put it in your ass.

And she is very much aware that Salt is going to shoot the shit out of him in a second or so, once he recovers from the fight. So she just pulls the pirate aside. I'm assuming he's still got weapons trained on him, but she's going to try again to reason with him. So she pulls him aside and she's like, look, I don't know what the fuck happened.

I don't know who the fuck you are. What the hell just happened? And who are you working for? Because literally we just walked in here.

We meant nothing. But now I'm suspicious. Now I know that there's something wrong. And you're going to fucking tell me, or I'm going to let him shoot you.

Point of luck. And you've got to go ahead and turn down. She's got one shot. Me too.

I don't miss. OK. Roll me either coercion or charm. You can roll any of those skills you want.

You can roll whichever one. It's going to be difficult to be. Only one purple. Because he's pretty much getting his hands at this point.

Four advantage to success. Sorry to use that advantage. I'm going to. So I am kind of pulling him away slightly.

And I sit him down on a turned over box or something like that. So he is seated. I kind of pat him down as best I can with one arm. So one thing, the top line of this three is learn the desire or fear of a target.

Ooh. So that's not exactly what you want. So with that, you both succeeded. And you've learned, yeah, I see what he desired.

Yeah, yeah. So I sit him down and I look him in the eyes. And I can see. You peer sent him with a small.

Yeah, yeah, I mind connect with him and see that this is working. He's scared. OK. And then learn to think.

So you know that you've got confidence now. I think again, I'm going to stress back. Because you've got this guy exactly where you want him. What you know, I think just from looking at him before he even says anything, because he both learned his desire of fear, but you also like he's going to say some things.

But you can see on his face that right now he's going to do whatever he can. Like he is scared, jealous. He's going to do whatever he can to live. He doesn't care what he has to do to do that.

But it is utter fear in his eyes. And he just like, again, his hands are raised. And he's like, I, it's like, it's a pretty breath. And like, it was in and out a couple of times.

Because he's like freaking out. Because there's a lot of people with weapons. Are you still playing the same role? Or is it just as?

No, she pushed me away. So I just in the background just like waving it around. So she either way, like he's alone. He's got this gun pointed out.

And he's like, I'm working my OK. The hobo, Billy, he came up to my boss. And he told him that people were hanging out in this factory. And they were they broke into points over to the admin.

They broke into there. Well, he guys broke into there. And boss man didn't like that and sent us over to figure out what you found or to take whatever it is you took. Or I guess there's secrets in there.

And I don't even know what it is that's being defended here. She cuts him off. And she meets his eyes. And she's like, who's your boss?

And she pulls out a sheet to figure out his name. His name is Tom Radcliffe. I just said random name. And I said Tom Radcliffe.

Oh, no, that's her name. Yeah, Tom Radcliffe. Perfect. And then she keeps looking at him.

And she's got her hand on his shoulder. Like, where is your boss right now? So he's like, you have a map to the city? And she does.

So she pulls out something. And he's like, look at the map. He's like, well, on this, at this building, there's a normal shop out front. And we sort of work underneath the shop.

There's a door in the back. Sorry, not in the shop, but we're under the shop. If you go in an alley behind the shop, there's a door there. And you knock three times.

And then they will ask for the passcode. And then you have to give them the passcode. And then they'll let you in. And then so she kind of like, she waits a little bit, kind of like let the fear steep a little bit.

And she's like, if we go there now, are they going to know our faces? They just knew that some people have broken in. They said that the hobo, he said it was, well, he describes, he points to the self. He described him.

I didn't hear anything about the others. I just knew there were more. And she kind of like smiles, sweetly, it says, great. Thanks for your honesty.

I'm going to ask you one more time. Is there anything that you're not telling us right now that you think you should be? And keep in mind, your life, if you don't answer this correctly, the way that I want to hear it, I'm going to let him shoot you. Right now.

Salt smiles. And then he's like, oh, the passcode. You'll need the passcode. I can say the passcode.

And then you'll do what you will. And you promise? And if you promise you, you promise you won't shoot me? But I say the passcode.

You promise you won't lie about it? Yes, I promise I won't lie. Yeah. I certainly hope not.

And she like snaps in front of him and says, no, look at me. What's the passcode? I get to live by the passcode. I'm not answering that until you tell me.

If you lie, there's a lot of fish down below that are awfully hungry. Yeah, yeah, I know. OK, and I think he looks, he very briefly tries to look to get some help from someone. And he didn't get that from him.

So he looks to you flip, flop. I am a street urchin. And my dog doesn't get to eat a lot. And he snaps a look over to Salt.

Yeah, and he turns back to Herrick. He goes, he's not going to get any pity from the kid. OK, OK, I'll tell you. And you guys, I really, really hope that because I'm being kind and telling you all that I told you where they're at, I told you the passcode.

She cuts him off. No, passcode. Now. The passcode is air bomb.

Air bomb. Air bomb. Air bomb. It's a dumb ass passcode.

They just tell me what it is. So she without like, she doesn't hesitate at all. She just like turns him around and kicks him. And she says, go now.

And it's like you have five second head start. And I let him go. He just keeps running. He takes off.

Is anyone following him? Is this going to turn to a chase? He's running for the life as if he's going to get chase. Yeah.

I don't know if Salt wants to try it. But I'm flip kind of strokes, flops neck. He ain't worth it, boy. Let him go back with the message.

He'll bring more of them. Absolutely. But that's a really, that's a really weird goal. It's a really weird want that you have.

I feel like at this point, Bespette, so she kind of like looks to Salt and continues to ignore. Bespette is like Bespette. We go now, see if we can take him by surprise, and see if we can figure out. So obviously these papers and like this office is worth protecting, you know, A, by the fact that it was heavily protected with all of that, the machinery and stuff like that.

But B, somebody was watching it enough to know that someone's here. Cost of two guys that protect this thing. So let's go take a by surprise and see what happens. We have nothing to gain by winning around at this point.

Well, one reason you didn't come back here was to try to go through the papers again, now that you have less his name. I thought, do I have all of the papers at me? Like the ones that you initially need to import, but there are a lot more that, you know, there's like almost a filing kind of full of stuff. So you can try to do that and just be difficult.

It may be easier to move somewhere else if you're wanting to, or you just go and, you know, because at the HQ, and you know this as someone who's worked with them, like you know that it's not going to be four or five guys. Like there's probably going to be like a lot, like a number, like you don't want to jump into their, you know, their base and start fighting because it's going to be a lot of people versus you and that will not go well. Not go well. I still think, I think, well, here's the deal.

Hera thinks that if she can go in, she can find a way to negotiate with somebody. You know, I think, you know, that someone will know her by reputation or she'll know somebody or she'll have a friend of a friend who's there. I think it's just a matter of the fact that salt is going to blow up and shoot someone, or flip is going to blow up and shoot someone in a foot by accident. At this point, Flip has taken the cork stopper out of the bottle of whiskey and he has it in between his teeth, like a cigar and he's drawn the saber again.

And he's just like in a really grumbly voice that he's like really trying hard to maintain. Oh yeah, I see it. The man with the captain sword should be the captain. And right now that's me.

How much of that shit did you drink, kid? It was a splash and then a lot of noise. Looks behind and sees the empty broken bottle. That's what I thought.

All right. Let's take, let's take him. All right, here's what I'm thinking. As much as I would love to paint the walls of that HQ with every single brass guild member I'd get my hands on, salt ain't that stupid?

Plus they know my face. Yeah, because you're the only one. I got a description on because you had to pee on everybody. I didn't pee on him.

I threatened to pee on him. Threatened, sure. Okay, that makes a huge difference. Still a really weird taste threat.

You know, when you're an adult, you have needs anyway, we're moving on. So I'm thinking, let's take one of the outfits of these guys. I'll put one on, cover my face. I'll put the other one on.

She goes over to Flip and gently kicks his knee out and takes the sword with her like unintered hand and it's like, no. That happens. I was just saying it all, but it'll happen that happens. So I think Flip and I, we loot the bodies, take clothes off, and we toss them over the side to make sure nobody can trace it back.

So the stuff in the room is... I've never disposed of a body before. You're learning a whole bunch of life skills, kid. The two guys that were knocked out, they both had cutlasses.

So now you guys have three of them, I believe? Cool. No, two colors is in the same room. They are all...

Everybody's got it. And then there is a fusil, which is a sort of a long rifle that the big guy had that was dropped on the ground back in the back where he was, and then one of the two pirates had a revolver. You don't have skills for it, do you? I do.

I have range, like, a range heavy. I want one of the swords. I don't care what you can have a sword in the revolver. If I get the long rifle, I have one in the other sword.

Okay. Yeah, so there's one colors and two sabers. And then... She can see her.

And yeah, a revolver in a saber. Sorry. Here is the captain now. She has a fusilip, two revolvers in a couple.

You know if you're able to have a revolver from him. So if you're grabbing a... Oh, no. I don't.

Is there... So would there be anything like a pin or like an identifying mark, or like club thing that Hera would know about? Like a secret club handshake that would identify breast gilt members? Or is it just their uniform or like their...?

I mean, I guess you tell me, is that something like how would they identify each other than just uniform? Because uniform is going to be stolen and taken. Yeah. That by itself is not a great identifier.

Other than that, what would be the thing to identify? Is it...? Is it just like some sort of like coin or like marker, like maybe like a pin or something? That is like...?

And is that presented? Or is that like kept...? I think that's kept... I think it's subtle.

I think it's like kept like somewhere really public, but I think it's like not ostentatious enough that like people would think, Oh, that's uniform. You've got the big badge and everyone knows the big badge, but the real thing is the pin. Yeah. And she was like ranking...

Yeah, I think it's a... So she looks really quickly at the two, like disabled and she grabs both of those, just, you know, just for safety. And it's very much their bottom line. Nothing exciting.

I think probably Hera would have had significantly higher when she was brasgilled, but that's enough to like... At the very least, like convince somebody in the know that she's maybe supposed to be there, even though she's been kicked out. Okay. Because yeah, if you were to leave and come back, they would probably accept it because you've got the training, but you know, you're not gonna jump back and do a job and come visit you.

Yeah, no, I think she left on bed terms, but might be able to like con her way into like a different branch. Okay. Who gets the other badge? Like she's just gonna keep in her pocket for now.

Okay, so, so you said you're gonna put on one of the guys's uniforms? Yep. So is he gonna have the uniform on a half a little bit? For now?

For now? I don't think... He would know it, but you would know if someone is like, even officer inspection, he would know that he's not legit. I think I'm gonna hold on to it for...

So here's my thinking. So, here's gonna look over to Salt and she's like, see, so I'm getting in the uniform and she doesn't quite trust him not to like... Get in there and like freak out and kill everybody or like say something. So she's gonna hold on to the pin for now to kind of gauge his reaction, like as we're walking to the place, to see like if she's gonna trust him with the pin.

Like, because that's what, you know, it's a secret. And so it's kind of like, is she gonna let him know that this is a way to get in in the future and potentially mask her a bunch of people? So she's gonna like feel him out on the way there and see like, you know, if it's something that she can hang over. Okay, cool.

Anything else you guys are doing before you leave other than looting the stuff and... As we dump the bodies off the side of the ship, what they're saying, like quite for Eris to Gaia, like kind of giving like a small little ceremony. So maybe all the two of them are like, you know, gathering the uniforms, you know, your dog or pulling the bodies out to the edge. Yeah, it's like not super well pronounced.

We just kind of like, I just close their eyes and just Gaia take you and we throw them off the edge. Now, so this was, you guess what, most of the day you went to, you know, the place with the money laundry? The money laundry, yes. And so this was in like the evening, but it's not dark out.

Oh, yeah. Because you're taking corpses to the edge of the ship. Presumably it's close. You know, it can't be.

But what is that process like? There are bodies. Are you subtle? Are you trying to be sneaky?

Are you just? Yeah, I'm trying to, like my first thought is to mask them as like the normal garbage dumps. They get chucked off the side. Okay, so you just like putting garbage bags basically.

I swear they're both dead. Diving, if not, they're dead. So, yeah. One was definitely shot.

The other one is like passed out from, you know, she's... So he's gonna like hit the water real confused in the ground. Yeah. So...

So, and you pull both of them? You pull both of them. Okay, yeah. You have run three and flop strong.

So yeah, the two of you pull it. And I think... I'm just gonna... Just have a little one.

Oh, that's not for fun, Zeez. It's more... I just wanna see... Okay, so you're good.

So, it's one success, two disadvantage. Yes. Yeah. It's two failures in success.

I just wanna see if it was like really bad. Like if there's nothing here, someone bigger would happen. People come across you. Sure.

But it's just like regular people, they don't question it. If that was worse, if they were like a crit failure or if you had less successes, like, guard me and come and ask about it. Oh, sure. But there was only one over on that failure, which is regular people.

This is the side of town, people know not to ask questions. Well, like you did well on your role to self them. So, you did better than when I did. So, you're good.

So, you get to the edge, you flop these over. And like, I think you say the prayer. Yeah, just like a quick little like class pans just may mother guy, I'll take these spirits and return them to her bosom. When you're doing these prayers, does flop know to be quiet?

Have you like trained him? Because that's something you. We don't normally deal in disposing of bodies. Flip sort of just working his way through it.

Flop has no idea. Okay. So he's probably like, like just like looking around, you know, he's just confused with what's going on. Doing dog stuff.

Yeah. And then you say these words and then you push them over. Do you watch them go down or do you push it and then like turn away? I push them.

I wait till they clear like the clouds before they. Yeah, they did. Because unless you're like hanging over the edge because the way the ships are the rounds, you can't see all the way down. So it does that like slope slide down the balloon and then it's going.

Yeah. All right, flop looks like we've gotten ourselves into some deep shit. Yeah. And then you guys walk on back.

Good dog. Anything else he's gone? Anything else other than that you want to do when you're there? I'm going to quickly pull out some try and do some medicine roles to see if I can like better stabilize or bandage my gunshot wound.

And I believe that based off of a woodstone intellect. Oh, it's a lot. Okay. That's two.

So. So two greens and purple. One success one failure and one advantage. So that's a disadvantage and an advantage.

So that's who cancels you heal one. Okay. And then you do that. Is there anything else you want to do?

You want to do something during this? I think while she's bandaged up, he's a brain cell. Kind of let's your thought. Anything else paper wise.

This is clearly not a fun process. So she kind of looks over and like while she's like re bandaging it and like just kind of like adjusting her coat. So like to recover the bandage and she's like. Nice.

What do you want? I'm just asking if there's anything else paper wise that she looked for and move out. I think everything that I think we need to find out more names before we come back here. I think if we run the risk of not having more information than we need, let's just we're going to the brass guild.

The way that they work is they're going to send somebody to double check and if they see that things went wrong alerts going to go up. Let's go now and hope the place doesn't burn down before we can get back here. Ultimately, yeah, you know you need time and rent out that it's not a thing you have. So you need to give yourself time in some way.

Because yeah, if you were to just, I mean the only other thing you could do is drag every, you know, drag the entire filing cabinet somewhere else in town which is time. Like that's all we need to do. And hey, Flip got a job for you. Yeah.

You know, and then maybe other things that you don't realize you need. So yeah, solving the time problem right now is I think. Where'd that revolver get to? It's someone wants to take and grab it.

There's one. I'm going to grab it because I see that's got a brass guild and a signal on the side. Okay. Do you have a diesel and revolver?

I guess other than you guys are kind of, you know, decently well after a fight. I didn't get hit. Yeah. Was her the only hit in the entire fight?

I think Kara is like walking and like the level of shit that she can take at this point is pretty maxed out. So she just kind of like size and like accepts that everything is her fault and that's fine. It was a car. Can we just see like the anger lines above you?

Cool. So it is evening. It's going to take some time to get where you're going. It's probably going to be some of the time you get there.

I mean, they'll be there all night. I just want to make sure you guys get it is starting to get tonight time. Obviously I want to sleep in the place where they're going to be coming. I still have my hotel room, right?

I just know that time is your big enemy here. Put it off there if you want to do it. I'm wondering if there's anything like I need to stop off and get, but I feel like at this point it's better to just go and then hope. Plus I think we have extra suspiciously extra weapons. You got a bunch of weapons on you. You got some paperwork. I kind of lead the two of them in the direction of where the hotel room is.

I think we get there. It's probably right around like a dinner rush. So I think I lead them back to the hotel and I think there's a back entrance which is kind of just the hotel entrance for the back of the Motel 6 where people with keys go through the main desk. It's kind of like opens the back door and leads them up back into where her hotel room or her in room was.

And then just kind of opens the door making sure that nobody's looking at this suspiciously triple armed sword carrying how many rifles do we have this point? When the door opens, what is kind of the scene to these two? Is it looking like you've lived in for a while? Is it very Spartan?

So it's reasonably messy considering I think care has been there for like a week. Definitely not been there for long. It's definitely pretty sparse in terms of very plain. There's nothing other than just basically a bed in the corner and then a little wash base and that's pretty much it.

Really basic functional furniture. Just pretty much the minimal. I think there's a trunk, a beat to shit leather case where all of my things are. Very challenging.

But that's basically it. And then just probably close and stuff scattered. Probably I think the thing is it's fancier than it should be. Just glancing at the things that Hera has in her room.

There's a lot of things that are maybe frivolously expensive. But just a little bit less practical than they could be. You present yourself to a very practical strategic person and then you see like, well, why would you have that? I think there's a fair amount of like, there's a full case of fancy perfume or makeup or something that's clearly just out of place for what they may have seen before.

But other than that, I think it's just a little plain and a little bit messy. There's some clothes thrown around. It wasn't like expecting anybody. So she just kind of opens the door and like, like, waves them in.

So like, get out of the fucking hallway. Wow. The room is like super fancy. Which one is the pea corner?

There's no pea corner, first of all. It's down the hall. I swear to God. Okay.

So she like, she takes him and like takes like, I think like the sword like off of like, no, no, no, no, no, no, you're done. Go down the hallway and I think it's like a shared like, yeah, okay, because it's a laboratory. Okay. Okay.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So I'm going to go along for it to be on his side.

Oh, he wears it on his back. Yep. All right. Cool.

He looks for the restroom mode. So answer me this, Harold. Is there kind of a standard issue when it comes to weaponry loadouts or is anything out of the ordinary going to stick out? I don't think there's anything standard, but it's going to be everyone's going to be armed, but if we're too armed, that's going to stick out.

I think how much is to one and she like kind of looks at them and she's like, take what you want and then cut that in half. That's about where you should be. I mean, most of them have, you know, at least a gun. One sword, one, one.

One is the only weapon of some form. Maybe they have a couple knives or a couple of pistols, but they wouldn't have a rifle or two pistols, two knives and a hand. There's going to be basically my loadout right now. Yeah.

No. You're too armed. There's going to be bouncers. They're not going to take your weapons, but if you're clearly looking for trouble, they're going to stop you.

So subtle, if we can manage. You have the revolver, the fuselage pistol thing. One of the other kind of. You're just like walking and like clanking.

It's a lot of guns. Especially like the fuselage. That's a big gun. It's even bigger than that.

So I think Tara pulls under the bed. She pulls out like a second trunk. It's kind of nondescript. She kind of like kicks it open.

And like there's a couple of extra like guns and a whole bunch of like some like knives. And like so like she kind of like opens it up and like starts like unloading and like gestures for salt to like unload as well, just like hide them a little bit. Because like yeah, the last thing I think anyone wants is for like, I don't know, you old room service to come through. Oh yeah.

So as the weapons are being divvied up, Flip comes back into the room and just without a word, a wave's face down on the bed. Cool. I think so. Tara looks over and she's like, wow.

So turned out not all that fun going through, you know, a bunch of fights to the death and, you know, gunfights and things like that. What? What me? What?

And she just kind of looks and she's like, why don't you stay here? Are you okay? Like you look really tired. This is kind of shit.

So comfy. I lay on metal. That's fair. Yeah, this is probably the best bed you've slept on.

Ever. Yeah. Ever. I slept maybe like on a cot once or twice when I was bouncing from home, but this is the first time I've like the first down pillow for sure.

So this is confusing because everybody sleeps on pillows and has beds. And she's like, I don't understand children. Like what does this do we leave him? Do we keep it like what do we do with him?

Like he's just keep. Has he really though? I mean, look what he did during that fight. He handled himself pretty damn well.

Fair. But don't get on the bed. No, stay down. Yeah.

He would really mess up the legs. Yeah, we did promise. I'm sure he's muddy too. Absolutely.

Maybe some blood on him from this. So we're looking for for his parents, right? We're trying to find out how come this is a kid. Right.

Yes. When they say revenue, do you respond? I'm not listening to him. Yeah.

She's like, I'll call. Yeah. Just kind of resting on the bed. I'm not sleeping.

In the meantime, I'm taking a bar, one of the National Case and carving birth into the side of the fusil. I'm coming back for it. Because it seems like, you know, I'm turning around like, yeah, we were going to find out why this is a kid revenue. One more weapon based question.

Do officers carry these big fuckers around? Or is it anything special? No, I think that guy was just compensating for something. That's probably fair.

I mean, I was never in a city guild, but out on the ships. Yeah, no. Everybody has, you know, everybody's armed, but like nobody has anything special. It's mostly, I mean, it's ship combat.

Like it's, it's, yeah, it's mostly if you're fighting, you're fighting, like you're boarding. So it's practical and minimal over. You would assume that in a city, you can't hide that feel right. Yeah.

Just like you can't hide your right. Right. You know, pistol, and knives. Yeah.

I think, so Hera was a soldier, so she was carrying a rifle in official capacity. Okay. I think that's nostalgic, emotional holdover. I think it's not practical necessarily.

But, you mean to go by you guys, you know, prepare leave? Are you saying to sleep or are you just getting some, you know, just enjoying the bed? Okay. Just enjoying it.

Just rubbing his like face all over these like nice, this nice. And I'm sure you're discussing. It's so gross. I think Hera, Hera.

Clean them off after that mauling. It's absolutely disgusting. Hera just kind of size and is like, like how, how do you want me to explain this when I leave the room and you fucking leave mud and blood all over the bed? Like, I've got to slap this lab since it's, let's era 10 credit piece.

Yeah. Which, yeah. So I have like chump change at this point. Like you're very quickly becoming expensive.
