So we are here. It is episode eight of tidefall. Eight episodes, man. Yeah, that's like over a half year.
Almost a year. Oh, wow. She put it like that. That's insane.
Yeah. Yeah. We're getting close to like a year of tidefall, which is bonkers. Right.
I had not even thought about that, but that's crazy. Yeah. Why'd you bring that up, man? Just feeling it.
I just, I got to make sure everyone knows around the game. First off, you may have noticed already, but audio may sound a bit different this episode. We are currently recording this in the middle of the coronavirus craziness. So we are recording remotely.
We're on algorithms. What are you doing? You can't say it. That's true.
I mean, yeah. It's fucking too. That's pretty real. Fuck them.
So yeah. So yeah, we're recording home mics, internet. So should all be good. We've done a bunch testing.
But just as kind of a head of things maybe a little bit of an exaggeration. But you know, Paul helped us. Paul even got on and helped us. So we, you know, the other day, not right now, but the day.
So yeah, stuff's different. Run the internet. Useral 20. Lots of things.
But we're still going to play. We're going to help tidefall. It's going to be fun. So with that, let's kind of talk about what people went up to.
And I know that that would be a it's a weird question to answer right now. But yeah, nothing and also everything. Nothing and everything is a great answer, actually. Pandemic hashtag.
Um, yeah. Ted, do you have anything to bring up? Or I guess normally this is also where we like potentially plug shows or other things. But we don't know what the fuck's going on in the future.
No. What are you talking about? Yeah. Yeah.
I think you're going to have to be more like pointed because we're not actually staring at you. It's true. Yeah. Everyone want to start?
Yeah. Ted, do you want to go? Yeah. Monica, you do you think?
OK, I'm just because I'm visually at the top of the screen. So yeah. I'm in self isolation with my husband for two weeks now. All of that started on my birthday, which is the 16th.
So that was really depressing. I am not working for another week. And then I don't know what will happen after that. So I've been playing a lot of video games, Animal Crossing, of course.
It's amazing. It's super great. I'm very happy. My account's name is St.
Hilda. I'm going to go with a creepy cult thing. Very excited about it. Yep.
Other than that, it's really I have no conception of time. At this point, every day feels the same. I thought it would be much better at this. But I'm really missing people.
I want Taco Bell with anything. I just, yeah. So a big juicy burger or some Taco Bell or like man chocolate. I've been.
I had pizza the first day. Yesterday. And it was great. But it was weird because they had no contact with the free option.
And I thought, let's do that. It was weird. The first person I talked to in real life in two weeks was through a door. He's like, hey, pizza's here.
Don't open the door. But I'm leaving on the floor. And I'm like, all right, cool. And it was weird.
Yeah. The advantage to doing that is I didn't put on pants. I don't put on pants almost two weeks. And it's great.
So I live in a neighborhood. So I have to walk my dog every day. He's been spoiled as fuck. Because he now insists on having two walks a day, because both of us are here.
And he knows he can just whine long enough. And that'll happen. But everybody in our neighborhood is doing the same thing. So we're all kind of edging around each other, saying hi.
And being like, yep. I now know all of my neighbors. And we talked to an old man about the weather yesterday. So I'm talking to people from a safe distance away.
But it's like, yeah, actually being close to people. It's super weird. It's weird how much people are talking to each other during social distancing. Right.
I know all of my neighbors dogs now. Because we're all home at the same time. And I know which one's my dog doesn't like and which one's my dog does like. So I'll be all standing 10 feet away, two leash lengths.
It's weird. Weird times. I don't know. Oh, yeah.
My thought is this episode comes out in early May. My hope is by the time people listen to this, shit's all good. It's gravy. It's in the past.
That's nice. Yeah. That's good. Right?
Everyone. Happy smiles. It's all good. Not gonna win.
Yeah. For pressing my cynicism. It's possible, I guess it could happen. Yeah, we'll see.
Everyone on camera is shaking their heads no. Everyone is saying yes. It's like yes it will be. Yeah.
Ted, what's up with you? Other than staying home? Yeah. So I've been staying home.
Yeah. This is literally the most amount of time I've spent with my son since he was born. That's what I suppose from a certain perspective. I love the shit out of that kid.
He's bored. Kids are a lot. I kind of know that my dog half the time. I can't understand like an actual child.
That is a lot. Yeah. I'm impressed with anyone who can do this with a child. Like that's insane.
We were already very happy with our daycare service. And now I'm super like I'm super missing them. So like all of the tweets that are like teachers. You need $10 billion now.
That's something I've always believed but could be. Yeah. People really know that their kids are terrible. I too have been playing a lot of Animal Crossing.
It's sort of nice to have like. You got to be an exchange friend code. That's what I was going to say that earlier but I didn't want to muddy up like that discussion. But yes, we should.
It's really nice having like a digital sort of routine as mine's been sort of obliterated. So I've been finding a lot of comfort in that. On top of that I just went out and bought a bunch of games to hold up in my house with. So I've been sort of sampling them as I've gone.
So I've been playing a lot of Sekiro Shadow's Eye twice which has been a blast. I finally started up Disco Elysium which is amazing so far. So good. What else?
One other game I started playing. Oh, Divinity Original Sin 2. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. That's great.
I haven't actually been playing it but I've been watching my husband play it and he seems to be enjoying it. I played that a lot back in the day and then about a month ago a friend of mine is like, hey, let's play this again. And now I've got to play through like right now. Before we started getting on this call I was in the middle of a fight with a friend on the already.
So it's great. I'm enjoying it. I'm looking forward to getting into it. I don't get a lot of, and this is not an Akana I think but I don't get a lot of tactics gameplay in my D&D games just the people I tend to play with focus more on like, like role playing and more wider focus on combat.
So it's going to be nice to be thinking about positioning and like spellcasting and tactics as I go into some of these bigger fights. Yeah. Yeah, it's a very tactical based game. But then you get to those cool stuff like, oh, this is cool.
Like various like lots and lots of like cool intense action especially if you jack of difficulty it's hard but it's fun when the enemies are just punishing you but they're just like, yes, I got it. I mean, I was watching and then somebody turned into a chicken for a while. So that's a thing. Yeah.
That's something for everybody, I guess. Kind of like the divinity iconic what denial. Just like, just like a weird humor. Yeah.
Feudal. It's crazy enough to. All right. Well, fortunately he really got its entire run in before the COVID craziness broke out.
So before I was thinking like, like, squeak. But like the playhouse had to pull the plug on scene in the rain after two performances and that was our closing weekend. So we went ahead and still had our show Sunday. One of the guys in the cast who is a retired doctor, he made, I call it bootleg sanitizer where he got like ice profile and aloe vera from a pharmacy and then made it.
So people wouldn't freak out and we went through and we cleaned all the seats before anybody came in. But we tweaked our whole run in before all of that issue came in to be. But that's for me. I've been working.
It's a weird place to be in because I don't want to complain about it but being diabetic and being in the high risk part of this craziness makes me a little concerned. But my job got labeled as essential. So I haven't had, I don't know, the ability to get out of the way of the thing, I guess is the word I'm using. So I haven't been home that much.
But I recently discovered Deep Rock Galactic. The first thing I did immediately for those I know that game is I went around the base and kicked all of the barrels into the launch bay, which is not what I was supposed to do but I wanted to do it. So it's fun. It's just space dwarves mining asteroids.
Yeah, it's weird. It's calming kind of like Minecraft is but then I feel like there's progression that I just never got with Minecraft. Right. I still need to get the hang of like right now I'm playing the engineer, which is like he's got shotgun and some sentry turrets to help defend against aliens and wake up if you're mining too deep.
But he also has a platform gun so he can get up to the higher, more valuable minerals and I keep forgetting to flip away from that and I just shoot the enemies with platforms and it doesn't work. Yeah, not so much. Not so much. My favorite thing I played the engineer when I played forever ago.
I think it's an upgrade to make it so that the platforms are soft so you can just like jump off of a giant cliff and then before you land the ground make it soft and then you land and it either makes you bouncy or just you don't take image. This is also like super super super early access. It could have changed. This is a bunch of little at least.
Yeah. That's fair. On my end it's just been playing video games and working playing Divinity Reginalcen II and Pathfinder Kingmakers II giant huge CRPGs. So that'll last me throughout this entire crab.
Don't say that. Stay still. Right. I mean, if not, I have a list.
I've got a list of games on my backlog to do. Yeah, well, I should be fine. I enjoy my games. I've not got in circles yet.
We'll see what that. Here's another fun thing. Epic Store actually let like the left free games out every once in a while and the one we let go this week was World War Z. Oh, which I thought was.
Yeah. I'm like, that's tasteful. I didn't realize they had made a game of that. That is great.
I'll also check that out. It's like left forget in the World War Z rapper is how I would characterize it. Okay. People love leoparded too.
I used to play that all of the time, but it's been a really long time. Nice. Well, I think we are going to let our narrator read us into the episode and then we will get going. So we will be right back for part one of Tifal.
The Tifal. Rest in a cloud of hatred. Episode eight. Now, others say it was again, attempted to sleep with our territory.
The dead boy is almost caught by her soldiers. The same by the one we have noted as now. They were attempted to convert her friend, but no dice. So this would work.
Correct. So feeding her like beans were the goo's beard. Our sons also report their one out to my equipment whether then went to do, Okay, serious has grew wrote this who will are hulls up in here. Need leads, our adversaries go searching for one, they bring out a pen.
After some sneaky celebrate found where he lives, so they send in their dead boy. Hello. What will happen to our men dismine find out now and we're here, episode eight part one. Flip.
Yeah. You're in your house. You're sneaking through and you got caught. I know it's been like a month in real life, but for Flip, it's been like the most agonizing three seconds of his life.
What do you do? This guard, just sort of set the scene for everyone. Flip is in this house, and you can through trying to find information on this Gabriel Cobb, who's this leader of at least this factoring, potentially he's the leader of the like, rascaled on this ship, city, whatever you want to call this place. You're in his house trying to figure stuff out there, what's going on.
There's something happening in a week, week and a half. And you turn this corner, guard in front of you, he sees you, and you said what again? And if you don't remember, that's fine, it's fine. It's been a month.
This isn't my house. And yeah, he just looks at you. And he's like, well, excuse me, you look like you know where we are. What are you doing here, kid?
You know, the houses on the street all look the same. We just moved in, and I think I just went through the wrong door. And he gives you this look, and I think he had to make me a role. I'm trying to decide, are you deceiving this guy, or are you straight up charming him?
I'm trying to charm him. I'm trying to get eyes. Yeah, I'll let you go charm. This dude's got a willpower of two, so it's going to be a difficulty to.
It's more than I should go. I'm going to just because you're in the enemy's house alone. I'm going to use my only story point, which means you guys have, oh wait, four one did not four of you. There's three of you.
It should be three one. I'm going to give you a gym story point. So you guys should have all four. And I'm upgrading this, which means one of those purples is a red.
I will not counter story point. OK, you're just going to let it let her roll. I like it. Let this ride.
Let's see what happens. All right, here comes the charm. Oh, my goodness. Thanks.
Beautiful. So we're looking at new successes in a disadvantage. To success and threat disadvantage. OK, so what that?
So and you were trying to convince him that you're lost, and you want his help to find the way out of this place? I want, yeah, so help getting back out, and then maybe looking for my home. OK. So I think, and the threat is obviously you're freaked the fuck out.
You're going to take a strain if that wasn't already obvious. You're taking a strain because you just got caught in the enemy's base and you're about to shape yourself. But you do have two successes. Those two yellow dice was pretty good.
And he looks at you, and he just grumbles. OK, OK, fine. Just I think he doesn't say follow me. He pushes you in that way, and he gives you a shove.
Down that way to left, I'll guide you out. Most people hold my hand when we walk places. And he just grumbles like, OK, fine. And he grabs your little hand.
And probably this guy definitely has not had a kid before because he's like grasping at probably a little bit too firm. And you're not sure if it's because he doesn't, hasn't had kids before if he's trying to intimidate a 12-year-old. But I pretend it hurts. I was like, oh, sorry.
I like, he loosens up a little bit. But he's still firmly grasping you. It's a little bit too tight, but it's not hurting, hurting. It's like, OK, it's, you know, he's grumbling.
This is probably like a 30-second middle in the interaction where he's just like grumbling. It's just kids. And the entire way, he's just like old man grumble, right? He's not old, but just, you know, older than you, which is everyone.
Yeah. And grumble grumble. And then I think the camera pans back to Salt and Hera. Was anyone else with you guys?
You guys in drink salt game, did you? I don't think so. I think so. I think this is us, yeah.
And I think flops out with us. Dogs don't count as people. What? I'm trying to make good with flop after last episode.
Still, now they're wild. There's flop in the background. So we cut to Salt, Hera, and flop. And what is this like for you guys?
You're just flop goes in by himself. And I think it was probably like what? 10, 20 minutes? Like it wasn't ours, but it wasn't a minute or two.
I think every five minutes, I'm just kind of hitting Salt in the shoulder. Like, can you see anything? Like, is anything happening? Because like, and it's like every five seconds.
Like, just waiting. Right. You're too uncomfortable for Constance, or you're just like standing across the street waiting for something, some sign. I think we're both trying to be very like on the DL, so we don't have necessarily binoculars or anything less.
Yeah. You're just like chilling at the street corner, just like looking to the side to see. And he probably went in like a side window or a back door. And then I think you hear down the street, you hear a loud noise as a door bangs open.
And then you just hear a voice, just don't get lost again, kid. And then he like sort of throws, he doesn't throw up. But he like raises his hand and like sort of, you know, too quickly rushes flip out the door. This is gently.
Yeah, which is a little, not but not too gently. Right. Which is flip out the door. OK.
Since he was holding my hand as he led me out the door, I would like to, as he, as we crossed the threshold, I would like to grab him and throw him to the ground. What? That sounds like scary. I'm not sure that we passed through the door.
Were there any guards on the door or? So I'm assuming we made it outside, and there's nobody around. So yeah, inside there were, because this was like middle of the night, and it's not like there is not other there are no guards. There are definitely guards, but there's not lots and lots of guards.
It's like there's a couple of guards nearby that patrol, and there's probably a guard or two probably closer to where boss fans at. But it's not like there's like two guards in front door, two guards in the back door. So you get to the front door, you pass a guard or two through the house, but then at the front door, there's no other guards there. Cool.
Yeah, I want to try and grip his hand and then bring him to the ground to try and incapacitate him. OK. Rolny, I kind of feel like it's a brawl check, right? I mean, I'll let you roll either brawl or athletics.
This is what I've taken. We'll roll a brawl check. Yeah, OK. On my end, what is this dude?
His brawn is three, so it'll be difficulty three. It's a bit tough, because he's a big guy. Cool. He does, he is armed, but like, not like with, he's got like a club on his back, basically.
OK. Cool. I will. Just want to make sure you knew what weapons he had before you started doing these things to him.
No, no, why does that matter? Just go for it. Yeah, just do your thing. Don't be three.
Get flipped. His flip ever said get flipped. No, it's about two. OK.
No, you stole it from me. I can't use it now. Sixteen, then maybe. So yeah, I'm going to flip this deal.
Fail in the maybe. Oh, that doesn't look good. Did it not? Did it all?
Wait, did Rolny mess up or did everything no loud for zero? That's four advantages, four disadvantages, two success, two failures. Yeah, so everything goes out to zero. So that is failure.
I'm going to use a story point to make it not a failure. OK. This just works. By the way, it says use the story point before the brawl.
Did you use one for that role? I tried, and it didn't really work, so I didn't. Gotcha. OK.
But either way, you already used that story point perfect. OK. So you spend the story point, you buy a success. You have a single success.
And so I think what we hear, we cut back to this whole thing, probably takes place from Sultan's perspective, right? We hear, just get going, get any like, raise his hands to like sort of throw you out. But then you grab his hand and go to flip him. Get what?
Yes. And all the hair. I just kind of like tenses. Like, oh, she just seems like the head of the guy, like, beneath like a bunch of bushes or something.
And I think she just kind of like shrieks, like, what she hopes is like internally, but what is actually like, probably pretty externally. And then she like grabs Sultan's arm. Like, what is he doing? Oh, she was going to find out.
Yeah. Get over here. One really quick. So I think I feel like we need to roll initiative.
Because this, it sounds like it may be a short time, but I want to roll this up. So I don't take us how initiative works in Roll 20 for this game. So in the, I believe it is the Weapons Talents and Powers tab. At the very top, there's an initiative thing.
There's cool if prepared if the deal is about expected. So Salz and Hera are rolling vigilance. The dude is rolling vigilance. I think flip is rolling cool.
Because I'm assuming flip you were planning on doing this. So I'll let you roll cool. Hera's near me. And heightened awareness allies within short range of your character add blue to their perception.
And vigilance checks allies engage with your character. Add two blue instead. OK. So I'm going to have to do a roll first.
So I just gave you guys two blues. And now the two of you can roll. See that's vigilance. And that's yeah, vigilance for me too.
Yeah. I know. Yeah, vigilance unexpected. Yep.
OK. I had the button. Did it work? I don't see it.
Did you roll it under Weapons Talents and Powers in that initiative section or do you roll in skills? I'm looking at weapons Talents and Powers. And you've been doing it all the far right? Yeah.
I'm going to hit it eight times and see if it works. Ooh. Maybe just roll it under skills instead. I don't know how that initiative stuff works.
So I just tried it that way and no go. Yeah. Maybe just switch over to skills. Yeah.
Yeah. Roll in skills. It doesn't really matter. It's the same roll.
Up there it is. That's probably going to be my. And boom. And boom.
Oh, yeah. I'm going to go through that. I'll go through that. I'll go through that.
I'll go through that. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. So, okay. So it's like that's fair.
If I just get it. It goes number successes. And then if it's tied, then number of advantage. So flip has three with zero advantage.
Salt has two with three advantage. Hera has zero with six. And then for this guy, he has to roll. He is not rolling his cool.
He's rolling his vigilance. This is based off of willpower. So he's going to roll two greens. And I think because you, yeah, rolling two greens.
I'll roll that. He gets one success and three. So the order of this is going to be initiative. Initiative.
Oh, that's we looking. Okay, so we're going to Yeah, shout out to Rule 20. This is kind of a nice app. Rule 20 is great.
But I haven't used Rule 20 for Genesis in a while. I turn that turn that turn. So the players have 3.1, 2.3, and 0.6, and enemy. And this doesn't really matter for you guys.
It's really, you know, you don't have to go anywhere you guys roll it. He got 1.3. So two of you guys can go with it. He's going to go and then the last of you will go.
So who is going first? And I think the answer to this is Flip. Yes, that's very yeah. So we've brought him down to the ground combat begins.
And I'm just going to try and take him out in a hurry. Like I'll extend Efisty. Or innocent bystanders who happen to work for evil people. You guys are medium distance to this.
You're not super close, but you're close enough. You can help obviously. Okay, flip is just trying to knock this guy out. So I'm going to aim an extend office right at his dome.
Okay, I need to get new because he's surprised. I'm going to give you a blue dice on this. Cool. So we clear that out.
One blue dice, and then it's a melee attacks of two purple. So you are good to roll. Cool. Damn.
Oof. How? You rolled that double X that the hellish double X results. So you failed.
You've got two advantage. What's that advantage you feel? And if it helps, there is that that can help you a little sheet with like two advantage. I'll give blue to the next allied characters check.
Okay, so whoever is going to actually give them a dice. And I would like that to be flop. Flop? Okay.
I don't roll. We didn't roll initiative for flop, did we? He goes on. He's going to be flops and I should have real quick and I can add him in.
Animal game chaining goes on my turn. Oh, that's right. Yeah, he does. So he's got to go right now then.
What's flop do? Let's see. Are they at short range? They're medium range.
They're medium range. So he'll need to burn two movements to get in. Yeah. So you could have him he could take some stress to get to you right now, which I feel like what would you do?
That's what I would like him to do. He has more stress than any of us. He's got eight. He's got 12.
He's got less. Oh, just as essentially as a dog, he has less. He doesn't have to worry about like, you know, existential threats. Like I think like flops.
The other side of that is how often do normal dogs have their owners get into life or death fights every day. Yeah, that's fair. I don't know if there's many studies on that. So, yeah, there used to be real quick.
So on roll 28, you've got it on your little icons. You should go control these guys. The green is how the blue is your stress. If you it's too stressed to connect to a bit of a rain.
Yes. Okay. So if you want, you can load that eight down to six on flop. And that's not like that.
I can do it here. Slop doesn't have to worry about. He just charges this guy. So what does he do?
Is he attacking him or is he trying to take him down or he's already down? So I'm going to have him. Oh, he's down. Oh, I'm back.
He's down. You can roll extra blue dice for that. I didn't even think about that. Because he's down and you're doing it like an attack advantage.
Okay, so I'll just do that. I'll just do it on my end. Because otherwise, it'll be a bunch of weird things. I'm just a roll you want blue dice and I'll add on whatever you had.
Success, which meets it a null zero failure. So if you want to spend another story, I'll let you succeed on that check. I think I don't think it's worth. Okay.
So the challenge is nothing. Okay. So Flop charges gets in and he's I just seemed to attack on the guy. Yep.
Okay. It'll have a blue dice because he's the guy's on the ground. And then whatever, and then difficulty too, because it's a melee attack. You'll have another blue one for my advantage for my role.
Oh, and you're the advantage. Perfect. So we have two blue plus whatever he's normal stuff is. Perfect.
Let's do. Yeah, close and fangs. It does six damage and you have an extra success. That's seven damage.
Minus his soak. Okay, narratively and no damage there. So basically flip this guy over and he didn't punch in like, and I think what we see is the extent of this goes into the concrete on the ground and just like cracks the ground. We just hear this loud pop crunch is in the ground.
And then I think he just flop get him and flop like runs runs runs away from here and salt and then just claws into this guy as he's like, you know, punch next to one head claws into his arms. And who's going next? Salty. You want to go?
So, uh, the other thing is this guy, he hasn't been in any way silenced. So so far it's been mostly quiet. But if he yells out, things can happen. Things can change.
Which is why he tried to knock it because you know, flip it and hit them with the extent of 50s, knock out for a round. Right. So, I think because I got to spend two to get there myself. Don't I?
You have to spend you could, if you want to do two things and do an attack, you'd have to spend two string. Yes. Okay. I think he's starting to hear the guy go, you know, as flops going after him.
So I think he's going to burn the two to getting close as well. And he's gonna, you know, he doesn't necessarily need to reach for his gun because he's got his nice robot hand now. And he's gonna try to punch the guy out to try to get him to stop talking. Nice.
So mechanically use your mail use your like the punch version of your gun for that. But it's the same thing. Okay. Let's see.
Where we had the right one weapons and then your Yeah, that's it. Cool. And then you still have one blue because it's on the ground. Right.
And rolling. That is big out. Yeah, that's three successes and one of those successes, they try them. And for some reason, I didn't want to damage it.
Did it? Okay, so you did succeed. What is the damage on four? Four.
Okay. So it's four damage. And you've got two extra successes with six damage. What is your critical deal?
I think you roll this try and like, yeah, what is it look like? And we see you like charge forward with your robot arm and then you just being this guy. So I think, can I persuade you that it actually incapacitate him? I think so.
examples, but I think that makes most sense, right? Big thing. Right. Do something vital.
Yeah, do something vital. Shut this guy up. And that's who go around and shut him up. And maybe it doesn't like, maybe doesn't like starting for the round, but I think we do like, you clack him in like the mouth or something and make it so like he just can't talk for us.
Like he lost his breath and you just like, you know, that's what he's got right now. Not the wind out of him. I think after salt gets in, like he's kind of a dived and punched a guy who's looking around like, we gotta get him out of here. We can use for info.
Yeah. Still on the street kind of looking both ways, like trying to make sure that like they're not obviously seen so quick. This guy doesn't get to go because he's not stunned. He just can't talk.
So I think on his turn, he's surrounded by the three of you and he can't talk. I think he's going to try to just run away. I'm gonna let whoever has, I think probably the most Ron roll with a bunch of advantages because he's gonna try to escape. But then you guys are pin pinning him down.
So who's the strongest three of you? Not here. I think it's three and three. Whoever of you has ranked enough like, it'll be an athletic check.
Whoever's better in athletics roll and you have two guys. I've only got rank one. So you're gonna roll. Yeah, roll athletics check.
It's gonna be three purple because he's pretty strong, but you have three blue dice because he has two friends next to you and he's fucked up and surrounded. He's got a lot of good on your side. Who's rolling? It's not like you get one right.
Cool. And here we go. Yeah, success with advantage. So first off, you succeed.
But what is this advantage? Like he's like, he tries to run away and you sound him somehow. But what do you think? I think I burned some strain tonight.
I did. So I think the advantage is like, I seem to try to get up and I've pinned him down and like, and getting him, well, once I pushed him back down on the ground, I put my hand over his mouth, don't you fucking dare. And that like, that control of the situation, I think relieves the strain. That's like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, you spent two over to heal up the strain and then the last one is like, you just put this like, essentially, again, you give him black dice, anything is gonna do, but you've like, free team the fuck out.
Yes. Okay. So I think we're still going to turn it over, but you guys have a hand in a hair out. Is there anything you're doing?
Now I feel pretty good about just kind of like looking out, making sure there's nobody coming on the street. Is there and like securing like, is there an alley we conduct down real quick? Let me a perception check to see what all you can find. I see.
She's not close enough to benefit from high awareness. No, you're too busy dealing with this guy to give her an idea. It's only to be one because you're just in a three, but it is nighttime. So I'm going to get black dice.
All right. So that was perception. Yeah. Perception.
So just quick, the one on the far right. Yeah. Okay. Three success.
So I think that the rep is, so here's what you see. You're going to gain one point of strain because about 30 feet down left of you. So the way from basically the house is on your right to the left. There are guards coming.
And when I say guards, I mean brass guild members because they're not really government guards here. It's brass guild. There are brass guild guards coming. But between you and the other guys, Salt and Flip, there's an alley basically goes down the side of this house.
Like essentially like right here between the two of you, there's an alley that just goes up and you don't know where it needs to, but it's away from both the house and away from the guards. Okay. Hera kind of like casually tries to like stand in the middle of the street and start like gesturing and like casually not suspiciously seeing if we can drag that semi debilitated, not unconscious body into the alley. Okay.
