Tidefall E9 (3/3)

from Des Moines and Dragons · host Paul Privitera

Last time on Tidefall... Flip found himself alone in the home of a high ranking Brass Guild leader. When his stealth operation unsurprisingly failed, he reverted to child tactics. "Sir, please help. I'm lost". But then when it was time to go, Flip "Flipped" the guy and started a surprise brawl. After a quick capture and interrogation of the unsuspecting guard, they learned 2 things. The boss Mr. Cobb was in the house, and the bomb maker "Les Baker" (Yes that Les from Episode 1) was at the factory. The crew decides they need to find Les. But before they go, they had to pass off the information about the boss man to the Children of Yantis. Maybe they could do something about it. So while Saltgang and cultists go off to try and capture Brass Bossman, stealth operation v2 goes into effect. They go back to the warehouse. It is being protected by clockwork alarm drones, and some Brass Guild members with fancy guns. Thanks to some cool maneuvers by Flip, and quiet guidance from Hera the crew is able to find their way to Les unharmed. But they need the key. Queue the fight music. But this time the group has an actual plan, and a fancy new cyber armshield for our boy Salt. One quick fight later, the group has Les and they high tail it back to the hotel room. But not 5 minutes later there is a banging on the room. Saltgang is back. They are freaked out. Apparently the Brass Guild is going to blow up the capitol, Tidefall. What will happen next? Find out now.

In fact, part three of episode nine. So everyone is rested, everyone got some sleep. Hera cleaned up the ship, Flip was doing little things here and there to try to build that radio. Salt really just slept and got there.

What are people doing? What's next? It's early afternoon. You got until tonight.

I'm probably going to have some food, napping hours out in the deck. Anyone that is missing strain, obviously you heal all because everyone rested. So heal up your strain to max. And if people are missing health, I think everyone's health is still full.

I've never been shot in the last five minutes. Oh, and then I'm gonna heal up Flop's strain as well I think his is missing. I don't care that. Oh, I think so.

The token I've got isn't linked up properly because it acts weird when you link NPCs. Either way, you're good. Sure. So, yeah, what's set the scene?

Who's doing what now? Because you guys rested. You've got something tonight, but I wasn't sure what else there is between now and then. So I think one big thing is, so when Joe stepped by, I think Kara was able to finish rolling her eyes long enough to kind of like indicate where there is going to be kind of maybe a dead drop.

So she's kind of putting it like a package. Told through an eye roll. Yeah. Well, an eye roll in a point will say like pointing to like the edge of the gangplank.

Maybe there's just kind of a box there and it'll be, you know, they'll be like, so the radio before you able to pull that off plus like a flare in a mirror. Okay. Well, maybe the first way to jump into flip is one got to make that stuff. Right.

Because you guys, you roll the start point. You've got a thing to with mirrors and or lights to do that. But let's see what flip does to see what we can or can't do in that sense. Yep.

Yeah. So at this point, I think he's gathered up a pretty healthy amount of spare parts and supplies. He wants to try putting together a two way radio. Okay.

And is this using your med science to straight again? Oh, it would have to be and I can't. Is that one special one's per session? One's procession.

Oh, okay. Um, so if it's not with that, then you'd just be rolling a regular mechanics check, which would make it harder. Yeah, I think that's fair. Okay.

So instead of how difficult would a radio be? I don't accept it. I guess. Um, does it exist?

This is more of a like lower question and what do you guys think for communications? Do we've talked about it? I think it's maybe like an up and coming technology. It's becoming or it's very expensive.

Yeah. Government and maybe upper echelon brass killed might have it most because it's expensive. Yeah. I think that's probably a good thing.

So I'd say it's probably normally a difficulty too, but because you're not using your med science to straight, I'm hoping it's a little three. Okay. But you're still going to get your tinkerer, which means they're too blue dice. Cool.

And if you want, you can use a story point to upgrade. You guys are running low on sword points. I don't see it. I'll let it read.

Okay. Does it his inventor play in there somewhere? I'm going to get two blue dice from that. Yeah.

Gotcha. Okay. Okay. Here it goes.

Let's do it. Oh, nice. That is three successes. That worked out pretty well.

Cool. So, and you built two of these? With three successes. I don't know.

Probably. I think it can only make two. Yeah. I think you don't give them two.

One set of radius. They're not going to bust. If you're going to make a third one, you would need like a critically something because ultimately then you're not doing a connect to be connected to a you're like using various radio like it becomes more complex that are just connecting these things to each other. It's more like connecting with station and not, you know, read.

Yeah. So, okay. So you've got two of these things and you've got one and you essentially, I assume you give the other one to Hera to put in the drop. Yeah.

I probably give her the other one too. This is kind of her operation. Perfect. Yeah.

So yeah, she'll probably put it in like the. And when you do this, you ever like explain to her like how it works or do you because it doesn't own her as I'm like, if Joe were to find this, would he know how to use this thing? I don't know. What is this?

You just bring it up. Okay. So it's got what it looks like how it works and sort of explain it both to us to Hera and to the audience. Like this like rough, like chromium, Jesse with a like, just like a metal stick, like it's not collapsible.

It doesn't look nice. It's kind of like a spike and sticks out to work as an antenna. And you see it's got like a wire wrapped around it that goes into some like intricate metal. Yeah.

And you can see like there are these series of gears that are spinning to spinning and sending the charge along the wire. So it's always active. Is it like when you press the button suddenly that you know the current is active and suddenly is like the clockwork thing spins generate the charge and then that's when it's shooting out. Since it's all pretty like hot, we put together, you can see like when you do there is a button on the side and when it clicks in, it completes a circuit and then things start spinning electricity goes and then okay.

But there's got to be like a constant thing going for reception or else you'd have to like hold the button just exactly. Yeah. Okay. Okay.

Cool. Yeah. You show this to Hera probably explain a little bit more complex than I mean, ultimately to use it, it's just press button. You can talk.

I feel like like we flipped you go into the intricacies of like anything at all. You just show it and then like we as like audience can look at this thing, but you don't explain it all. You just like, you know, press is on. I'm not immediately if she asks I will, but I'm just a little distracted.

I think she's yeah, she's like organizing things in the control room. And she's just like kind of not paying attention to to flip when he walks in and just dumps them. Okay. That's all right.

I think so. Okay. Check it out. They're ignoring each other now, which is maybe better than a nice bend.

So, and real quick, a Raya is staying with you guys. You're not going to have two secret spies. Nope. Okay.

Okay. He just has to make himself nice and quiet and not get in the way. Okay. So where would you guys have had a Raya put less because less was brought as well.

Raya's got less. You guys came as a group is less like tied up or is less. I don't think I think as soon as they walked on board, so there's the multiple kind of cabins below deck. So I think like here, I just kind of like points points them in the right direction.

It's like everybody get comfy. Y'all get to choose a bug. Okay. So I think he's just, you know, he's free to roam the ship.

Okay. He has to stay on the ship, but he's you're not like a moment. I thought you were going to have a riot tie up less in the room. You almost started to ride.

No, yeah. That'd be great. No, yeah. A riot gets to stay in that room for sure.

Okay. Raya stays in that room. Okay. Everyone choose a room.

Except for you. You stay pear. You have a room already. You know what you did.

Yeah. But then they can. He's got a pool corner. Brutal brutal attack via dog.

Yeah, no trauma there. But now I think less it has been made to understand at this point. Like, yeah, you make yourself comfortable, but ultimately you're responsible for all of this. So don't make any sense of yourself.

Okay. And we tell you. Okay. And he's like, yes, ma'am, I'll do whatever you need.

Just don't hurt me. I can answer any questions. Stay out of the way. And like when you say to quite, he's probably rambling a bit like, yeah, you know, if you have any questions, I can answer anything you've got, you know, I'm here to help, you know, I think.

I think Tara's just like, she's got a wet stone and she's just like sharpening her knife. Okay. I think she's pretty impressed with like how effectively it's like communicated messaging. She's last few, a few days.

So I think she's kind of like taking a shine to like just holding it while talking and letting it. Yeah. Just just, you know, let them see that it's there. And I think she's been kind of happy about other people's bullshit.

Trilling off a little bit. So she's, I think she's just sitting there like, yeah, sharpening her knife. Just kind of. This is such a different hair from episode one.

I know we've mentioned it before, but it's, yeah, she's getting there. She's growing is for better for worse. I don't know. Yeah.

Yeah, which is fun. I was enjoying character actually change because it's so much more interesting than when you've just got the static character. So, okay. So I'm just going to give everyone guidance.

Flip was building these things. What is salt up? You don't know all this. I think he's out still kind of scouting to make sure trouble doesn't happen or to make sure that Joe is still doing his sort of duties.

You know, maybe he was the guy that was in charge of landing. Salt was in charge of making sure that dead drop got put in there. Yeah. Okay.

So you're like, just a thing over and like I head nod towards Joe and you know, Joe as a head nod back and Joe is probably a little bit too obvious, but you know, it's Joe. Right. And no one's really paying attention because he's just, you know, the problem of the wrong, you know, yeah. I mean, really, when you're that low in the turn of pull, everyone just kind of ignores you.

So, you know, he's got to be on that end. He's making the perfect spy for the exact reason that here hates him. Yeah. Exactly.

Okay. So you sort of handled the dead drop. When you're keeping on things, are you, if you're scouting around, are you doing more where your ship is to make sure you guys are secure or do you want to head closer to where his ship is? I think that's what happens.

It's not super close. He's scouting around you guys can see yourself other than the distance, but it's not like you're 30 feet away. You're like a couple hundred feet away from each other. It's like two different ends of the dock basically.

Right. I think I put myself somewhere in the middle. Okay. So I can, if I have to get down to him, I can, but if I need to get back real quick, I can.

Okay. Okay. Okay. Roll me a perception check and let's just see what all you see.

It's a little too blue. I've got your blue dice. It's a little blue. It's a little blue.

I've got that. Okay. And rolling it. And we're waiting.

Okay. So, and when you're, when you're looking around, again, you're kind of keeping an eye on everything, right? It's a little bit of, you know, you're on a little bit of their end. You do succeed.

You have three successes with two advantage on top of it. So what is it? What is it? And I'm not sort of like you paint the scene.

What is it that you see is it on your end or is it on the Leah's end? Hmm. I think it'll be, see what do I see? I think it should be on my end since it's my perception check.

Like I see that I can kind of hear over the roar of the crowd. Leah's got a very shrill piercing voice. It sounds like what she was yelling about hasn't changed, which is great. Guard presence seems minimal at best.

So that hasn't changed. And I don't really see a patrol anywhere. So with Leah yelling, she, she comes back and yells. But the guard or the, you know, the dock worker that is helping her has changed.

So I think, and you see her yelling at Joe, which is like, oh, they replaced him because he, because he apparently couldn't do his job. And then even you, which is like pointy Adam and just like, even you apparently can't do this job. These things need to go over here. I told the other guy and pull you and he just, yeah.

From, from like a few blocks away, I think, Kara's just in a really good mood for stuff. It's like, just naturally happening. And it's like the universe is just, you know, coalescing and things are going great. I'm gonna have Joe rolling a joke.

I'm gonna have Joe roll a roll project unless flip you want to roll for him. Otherwise I can roll it. My willpower isn't that great. I know.

He'd just be doing his dice for him. What's his degree? What's his degree? It'd be two greens.

Okay. Ready? Unless he's gone. He doesn't have anything special.

He's just Joe. Oh, so, so Ted rolled for Joe and Joe both failed and got a disadvantage. So I think when, when she's yelling at him, he's like carrying this crate and then he just like drops it and like cringes at it and like the ground bangs and like the top of the crate like falls open and various supplies fall about and salt sees this and you know, you're paying attention because she's yelling at Joe, right? And the first thing you notice is yeah, things fall out of this crate and initially it does not look to be bombs.

It's various supplies. There may be like a knife or something or weapon, but initially it's mostly supplies and maybe, you know, some weapons here or there, but it doesn't look to be like it's just a crate full of bombs, thankfully, because Joe dropped it. Joe would. And then when he drops it, she just starts, God damn it.

I, how many of you work if they go into send it's and she just continues on this, you know, rants into this guy. So I'll take some breath like poor fucker, but he wasn't bombs. Yeah. He's, he's acting.

He's staying in character. Pure method. Yeah. Oh, yeah.

That or he's just terrified. What are the other column? I mean, let's look at this way. Hey, we're prepared him for this.

Not enough. Yeah. He did just kind of get volunteered to do a very dangerous, very, very dangerous tax. Oh, yeah.

By missions, but you know, do believe in him and that's enough. Yeah. We'll see if that's true. I don't know.

I'm not just confirmed. You don't do any sort of interactions with Leah or you just kind of let this whole thing happen. It's all just kind of what happened because we're playing the non-suspicious game. Okay.

During all of this, what's up with you? Here in Flint, other than like the dead drop stuff, but this was kind of after that. I think Hera is, as things kind of get closer to sunset, I think she's getting a little bit more antsy. So I think as, you know, she runs out of kind of free flight checks and things to do, I think she kind of is going to go around to everybody, check in and make sure they're ready and good to go and they didn't like leave anything behind.

Or they like need to pick up everything else. So I think she's going to first go in and check on Les and Uriah, who I assume they're probably still together. I think they are in Uriah's hunger room. Yes, he's bumped up in the same.

Hunger room. Yeah, the hunger room. It wasn't as formally, I think this was the first self-grained clubhouse, wasn't it? That was Jo's room.

Yeah, this was just the room where they tortured Uriah. We forgot about Uriah. Yeah. Like two years.

Yeah. He was so hungry. So I think she's going to go in and just kind of check and make sure that they're okay. But I think she's kind of curious to see how Les is doing.

If he understands, if he's improved his nerves at all, or if he understands that they're going to go and stop a bunch of bombs and it's all his fault. Okay. She's joking. She's joking.

What kind of question you ask them? Because when you go in there, just chit-chatting about nothing? Probably dumb, salt-gang stuff probably. Yeah.

Okay, so I think a riot, when you come in, a riot is like, okay, so to do the salt-gang hands-on, you're throwing salt out the shorn. You just, ooh, and you know. And Les is very much like, but why do I do this? Well, you got it.

It's part of salt-gang. And she just walks in and she says, Uriah, I swear to God, if you don't fucking cut that shit out, I will throw you overboard. Do you understand? Knock it off.

Get out of here. And she's kind of like, go check the deck or something. Speak something. Find something to do.

Uriah goes to the deck and I think the camera follows him for a bit too long and then he just like, like, grudgingly grabs a broom. And he starts like, ugh, she's so mean. And then he just starts sleeping the deck. Cut back to Herra in Les.

Yeah. So she sits down where Uriah was sitting, probably. And she's like, so, so less. Yeah.

Feeling any better from when you were, you know, last night? You know, last night? I think so. I mean, I'm still a little bit sore.

We're flipping out of the bed, but yeah, I think I'm okay. Yeah, sorry about that. Not really. Look, Les, I just want to check in and make sure that you're good to go and you're going to cooperate when we need you to.

This is your fault, by the way. And if the whole city blows up, which sounds like it might, you've got to do everything in our power to stop that. I mean, like I said, I didn't have a lot of control over the manner and they've taken me away. But I think you made a bad one.

I'm just going to say that. I'm doing everything I can now to help you. Just if you ask me questions, I'll answer them if you need me to do something, I will do it. I feel bad about making those weapons.

I didn't have much of a choice, but I'm doing whatever I can now to fix that mistake. I'm glad we're on the same page. You like put his hands together and you're like, there's like a mini bow. I'm sorry.

Just please tell me what you need. And I'll do it. I think Herra just kind of like lets the uncomfortableness stew for a second. Okay.

Just a couple of quiet moments of dead air. And I think she just like stands up, pats him on the shoulder and like leaves the room. She's like, you just hunker down. Let me know if you need anything.

Okay. We're going to take off in a few minutes. But yeah, just make yourself comfortable. Okay.

Yes. Just I'll be here. Please let me know. A little pinch of threat in there.

Just around it. Do you like, are you touching my elbow? Like I guess when I think of like squeezing a bit too hard on like a handshake, it's like the like classic. Are you doing it like that?

Or is it more just verbal? Yep. She just kind of pat him on the shoulder. Just a little bit too hard.

Squeeze a little bit. Okay. Yeah. A little firmly.

Then probably would be comfortable. And then like, as soon as you like, like rubs is like, okay. Yeah, it's probably his injured arm. Like I'm sure.

Yeah. It's the same side that like hit the ground and flip pushed him over. Yeah. And then I think so, so, uh, so, uh, flip is probably still hiding out somewhere.

And I think she's going to start looking for him to see if they're talking or not. And if she can check and see how he's doing. What's what's what's hercy when she finds flip? Uh, flip is not on the ship.

Oh shit. Okay. So, so, yeah, Carol Wanda is around trying to find her. Oh shit.

And she is annoyed now because she's like, oh, stupid fucking kid, like, dragging his own into the shit and now like he's digging around somewhere. Like, where's the stupid dog? And so she flop is on the ship. You find flop.

Flop is on the ship. Okay. Oh shit. So I think so she sees flop is what's going on.

Maybe flop is at one of the doors and you're like, oh, flop. And then you like assume flip is inside that room. You open the door and flips not there. Yeah.

That's what I think. So flop is sort of whining a little bit too. Yeah. So this is, I think, the first moment of oh shit.

I think she kind of turns to flop and is like, hey, buddy, where's your boyfriend? Where's your kid? Where's your kid? Where?

What's going on here, buddy? And come on, flop. Let's go look for him. Let's go.

And then he's like, he's like, he's looking around looking for doing that thing. Like he's looking everywhere. You know, like, because like dogs, if they don't know, they just, they will get everything. It's when you like hide under the sheet where they're not looking and then they spend the whole afternoon.

Yeah. Yeah. That's great. So she goes up to the deck and she sells it.

So is salt anywhere around salt is basically halfway between your ship and leadership. And he's just like, he's posted up, like looking around, keeping eye on things, you know, like an alleyway, just like, you know, doing the relaxed, you know, like, look out. Yeah. Yeah.

So she kind of, she looks around. She looks around. Is there, so she's up on the deck and she's going to scan the crowd really quick. Is there any sign of him anywhere or is there anything that would indicate like where he's gone?

I think, Hera at this point is assuming that he's just like gone digging around and some trash for like, electronic parts or something. Like weird gears and stuff. I thought that was going to go much darker. Like he just wants some food.

He's going through the trash game. This is all I know. This is Brad. So yeah, so she is scanning the crowd looking for him.

So is that a check, Ted or I guess I'll let you kind of narrate and take control. Let's see. So it, he's dipped off probably as soon as he candid off the radios. Okay.

So it's been like 10 or 15 minutes. Yeah. So like when, so it went to go scout things out. I think that's when flip also dipped off.

Okay. Okay. So depending on how long it takes him to find what he's looking for. Okay.

So maybe like we see Hera like looking out through the crowds and then the camera cuts, but doesn't pant you because we don't know exactly. I was just like the camera hard cuts to wherever flip is. And where are you? What are you doing?

I am eating a stolen croissant. The trash croissant. Oh, it's not out of the trash. It's straight out of a bakery.

Yeah. It's not. It's quite busy. It's like the morning rush at the docks.

So it's like early afternoon. It was a little harder to steal it then. Yeah. But I still do it.

It's also not quite as fresh because croissants in the morning are great, but like, you know, basically like six am till noon. And this is like probably two in the afternoon. So like it's like the remains. That sounds like such a good point.

I have never wanted anything more than one in the corner. Oh, good. And I think he's at this point, like he's sort of made his way around the docks looking at each ship. Trying to find the one where now and Maximus have boarded.

like he sort of made his way around the docks looking at each ship trying to find the one where Nell and Maximus have boarded. Okay, so Remind me it was salt that came on this ship, right? It was salt salt came on down in Maximus. Yes.

And at one point did salt tell you about the ship? I think he tells me like a whole story, right? Okay, so maybe what we do is we cut back to salt talking to flip about this ship that he was on like, oh, I went on, you know You know the ship found me and you know, we'd like counting his glory as a venture And you're trying to remember this conversation you had with salt about his like crazy adventure again When you were so excited to see you're like, yes, tell me everything Tell me everything and you're like going back to that trying to remember what all what the ship looked like where it may have parked like etc etc etc, right? And I recall just like a few like like salt details like he he remembers like the ship smells like smells like oil and disinfectant or like the the ship had like a An onyx rudder on it or something like that.

Just like these please like odd specific salt details So those are the things that kind of pick up on unlike the brass gale chips that were like very uniform And there was it was really just how expensive were they and how new were old are they the ships especially that the shown the antiseu is they're older They're more unique. There's weird things about them because they've kept them around for a long time They're almost all old so because of that it will take you longer to find a specific ship But you can find and when you see the chip it is that exact ship because it's got all these weird oddities to them So it takes some time and maybe like an hour's gone by at this point when we finally cut over to you But you do eventually find the ship and it's probably not that same docus that it's like at another doc elsewhere And you you've gone about this and you're like oh, it's not here Maybe go to the other one and when you head towards the other docks It's like the first ship you see in the distance is that ship? Yeah, so when Hera looks out flip has left this particular docking area and went to the other one. Okay So he's like gone Yeah, so coming back to Hera you're looking around and you're trying to find him and you're just like we did he's gone And then at your side it pops like And so she looks at flapping.

She's like I don't know. Can you like smell him? Do you like hunt? I don't know Let's find salt, maybe sell those so she like runs to like trying to like look subtle and like not obviously to anyone off But she kind of goes to where salt is posted And she kind of walks up to him and asks like without waiting like the kid is missing.

Have you seen him? No, I haven't seen him He's not anywhere on the ship and the dog is on the ship and I don't know it's doing a thing like it's sad or something Where would he have gone? Do you say anything to you? He didn't say anything to me.

Did you check his quarters or anything that might point where he rolls her eyes at him And she's like, yeah, like I checked his damn quarters. He's not there. It's not a big boat That's fair And she like looks at the like the clock Uh like that that's in the square or whatever and she's like looking kind of the sun as the shadows from the buildings kind of get lower And she's like we have like Less than an hour like they could leave at any minute. We don't have time to be like dealing with this bullshit like We gotta find him Hmm So I guess what I'm kind of hoping for is a note like maybe he attached something to flop Because there's like no reason to think where he might go You know, like heirlike leans over and is like, hey stupid boy.

Come here. Where's your note? Do you even a note is there like a clue? He just looks up at you confused, but he's just like staring at you like, hmm What a good stupid boy.

What a stupid boy. Where's your note? And there's your clue to my buddy Is there like and there's nothing on him? Go ahead.

Yeah, so kind of like talks in between like where the metal meets like his shoulder Um, you see just a little bit like of a piece of uh, paper sticking out No, so someone goes for a little Fox this finds it here is like She just kind of like can't even look at the thing and she just like she turns away and crosses her arms and just like looks often the distance It says you grab a note and what to say it says I needed my answers Meet me in tidefall So paris starts swearing she just is quietly under her breath at first But she's like that god damn motherfucking and she just kind of goes on Yeah, just yeah just continues for a period slowly getting louder and louder like um, and you guys out in the Doc or you like at your ship when this is happening. Oh, we're out in public. All right, we're saltless You definitely start to make a scene when that happens. All right, all right, let's Let's get back to ship and carry down.

I have a pretty good idea where he went and i'm not gonna be able to convince him He wanted his answers. He's gonna get him. Let's keep up the plan. You're kidding me after everything we have done for him You have to do with us.

What are we supposed to do with a stupid dog? What a good stupid dog? Yes, you are Uh, so Just like grabs him by the collar and like pushes him forward. Come on buddy.

Let's go Hey, salt can you roll me a stealth check i'm gonna give you a black dice because right now hara is making a scene And i want to see how much of a scene she makes Okay No, you are the one causing him requiring a stealth check How loud is this is it a difficulty to a difficulty to check? I don't think it's not a lot of people to do it's just she's just she's not making a scene Everyone in the doc is in here. Okay, cool It is definitely like a suspicious scene of like I don't think she's yelling at salt But like she's yelling like in the salt vicinity So it would appear to anyone watching that like salt did something and hera is angry. Yeah, okay Uh, yeah typically to you with a black because uh 12 loud noises.

Uh, let whatever you are good. All right, man rolling rolling Okay, you've got zero successes and a single advantage So you're gonna spend that last story point I think i'm gonna activate ready for anything that way I can steal one, but i'm gonna use it to make it So You buy a single success. You've got one advantage So and I think it's exactly that like you barely succeeded and I think people around you see you But it's not like everyone sees you and I think it's as Monica was saying I think it was Monica said It looks like and like you did something she's pissed at you and it's like oh, it's a couple fighting let's leave them around I don't want to get a grocery store there exactly. Yeah, it's just like I just want to be nearby I don't want to get somehow pulled into this because that would be hell So i'm just going to turn a look away and hope that it goes away So and then you're able to do that.

Uh, and then what you just you drag her back the ship Like come on. Let's go. This is all we can do. We don't have time to go find him He said we'll meet he'll meet us in tidefall.

He'll meet us in tidefall Unbelievable just unbelievable. I cannot deal with this. I mean we gotta go. We gotta go.

Look. They're they're packed up. They're going I'm not waiting up. Let's go At this point at the joe is like, you know Putting the last crate on the ship and he's like he's looking over you guys that like you're clearly not on your ship And he's like he's like shaking his head and where he's like trying to give us a no He can't tell what the signal means, but like he's like freaked out that you guys aren't on your ship and ready to go Right.

Um, what do you do? That's fair. We would throw Joe to the wolves Right. I think just like, you know, salt kind of sees us go go go like we're moving So I think we head out towards the ship.

Yep. Okay. I think at some point here. I stopped swearing and it's just feeling quietly Bottling everything up in a way that is probably absolutely healthy Okay, but at some point you guys didn't see it because uh you guys were getting into that fight But at some point salt you take a look out to ensure that crate with the dead drop in it is gone So joe must have gotten it because it's it's not there So you would have picked up you know, you don't get a chance to watch it because all the stuff with you know flip and hair Happened but you think that's all good So you guys are on the ship you're gonna prepare to go you see their ship is like, you know raising sales to leave and What do you do?

You just like waiting for them and then you know how far behind them are going to follow We're gonna we're gonna we're gonna probably stay I think Probably a few miles behind them. I think without knowing at what generally they'll probably have as far as like navigational equipment or like You know, they don't have radar or anything, but like she's gonna stay probably about an hour and a half behind where their projected course would be I think she has a general idea of like what the the main traveled roots are and like the most directed roots So I think she's gonna stay well out of eyesight But I think they're definitely gonna take off at the same time and she's just gonna have You veered a direction to keep an eye and then you eventually turn back at a distance because the hard part is Following someone at sea and that's stealthy weight is difficult because even you need to be at an extreme distance with like binoculars telescopes Or you need to like because they will they will see you So you have something like that because you guys had a day to prepare so if you wanted to find something like that you could Um, so I think I think hera's got several So she's done a fair amount of navigating and gonna through this area specifically So I think she's got all of the the most likely and there's not that many But like the most well-known like safe Roots kind of mapped out so and then she's just got all of the the like long distance visual equipment Kind of set up as well so that she can have somebody probably The take chef's but like somebody looking at the same time and they'll just kind of go based on that and then So effectively you're gonna be driving and then I seem salt to be in charge of kicking eye on stuff because he's Anyways, so you're gathering all these final pieces and like raising sales to go leave I'm assuming you a rya eventually stopped sweeping the deck and went down below or is there something a rya would help with in manning the ship I say he wasn't an ear prior to his uh imprisonment Yeah, he starts up the engines His post Yeah, yeah less we'll just say where he's doing during all of that salt is there anything you were doing during his final throw Um, he's just kind of standing looking at the note And he has this like funny thought he's like, uh, I hope someone teaches that kid had a shoot And then he just kind of rolls it back up drops it and goes add a boy You drop the note. Yep. Okay And then I think yeah, maybe the last thing we see of you is like you taking, um What's the name birtha verthaby to?

Okay, you see you like putting that on your back and then like, you know, probably checking the various sites that harris set up and then you guys start to Uh drive off Uh, and you finally think your hair is here. I just at the wheel I think the last thing we see of hara is just kind of her staring off into the sunset kind of taking Note of where kind of what direction their uh, their ship is and kind of preparing to be a fellowship and she's just kind of like doing That's exactly thing and yeah, okay. Yeah, cool Preparing to to maintain course and so she's just kind of staring out like not saying anything But like she's kind of mutters under her breath like Stupid kid All of this flop is kind of freaking his shit. He's on the deck like doing that thing where he's looking around looking for flip He can't like find him and he's looking through the crowds and he's doing that thing He's like looking at all the people and trying to find him because right now if you've ever taken a dog on a trip And their owners not with you or they're in a different car or something.

They freak out. This is what's happening Like right now we are leaving and flip is not with flop and that is scaring him Yeah, so and I think yeah, go ahead No, I think she's just kind of like Looking out like with like flop kind of whining and pacing in the background and she's like god damn it I really hope he doesn't do anything stupid And then that's just I think we just like that to herself and then we cut over to flip I think before we do that as she's like sort of like muttering To herself about like flip and his reckless behavior I think at this point after a little bit flop sort of makes his way over to her and just like rest his head right next to her Okay Good dog flop It's like his ears are down and his tail is tucked like he's freaked out but he's going to pair out for comfort Okay, I think without thinking about it. She like she puts her hand on the side Okay without even thinking about it The ship goes and then we see the note that salt dropped float off into the distance and then we hard cut over to flip flip is outside of this ship He reaches into Kind of like a holster he has for himself and reveals that he's retakened his revolver his burt ha I sort of like fiddles with it for a second Hopefully I'll learn how to use this someday It puts it back puts it back into its holster and you're just like knocking one of the doors That you would just walk on to the ship or how was the ship layout is it a door or is it directly onto the deck? Uh, I think like he's on the deck right now, but there's nobody really manning the outside of it But that's kind of like a it's a really small ship because it's a ship that could be manned by two Um, so before it was now in maximus that ran it Um, so right now your assumption is maximus doing a lot of things right now because now is not in a great position to help right, uh, so um flip sort of takes a deep breath, um, And then cranks open like this door to head into Whatever away we did we just hear this like big metal like chunk as it like opens up and it's you know Reveals and then I think probably the the last shot we see is we see maximus like running around there Like looks and turns at you is like oh, huh?

I guess he went into a quick huh and then do you say anything? I didn't actually catch what you said. Oh, sorry. He's like, oh, you're here.

I guess you want answers well Looks like you could you could use some help? Yeah, i'm gonna want to put you to work And then I think it just starts spouting off commands like go do this go do that and then the camera just like pans out Um to like the outside of the ship then it pans out again to like the edge of the city We see you know various ships leaving and we see you know, lea's ship going in one direction Hair of ship going in a similar direction and then the ship flips on going in a third direction And then it zooms out again one more time and we just see like all sorts of various ships and cities on the surface of you know Yentis like around we see the giant city of tide fall off in the distance with a big hub and then a bunch of other smaller cities around the world And one of those small city specs is where you guys are at currently leaving And then we fade to black So we will uh we will continue the story in season two of tide fall Yeah, so we are going to be taking a a break from this for a brief time Uh, we're not there's no gonna be podcasts coming out But for the next couple of months we're unsure on how long uh tat is having his second child And we were trying to figure out a way to do the show without flip and we figured Flip is you know all the cares are very important and I feel like we're doing a disservice to the show to continue doing without flip Right now we could follow self-inhera and let flip people his own thing But I'd much rather continue that story with him there so instead we're going to do another game in genesis We're gonna do some other setting we don't know what we don't have a name for the show We don't have a setting for the show. We're gonna do something with Monica and Chris Uh, so don't worry. We will be back.

But then at some point a few months from now We will bring back tide fall season two with episode 10 so stay tuned for that season two. Yeah, it's uh, it's a thing So they don't have any normally we just sort of hard cut the show but didn't have any closing remarks This is kind of the final episode of the final part of the season Okay Man, I thought self-gang was gonna be a joke that Ted said once and then it just turned into this huge epic thing with signs that even like Hera understands and Yeah Throw handshake salute a thing. Yeah, that can we get like directions on how to do the salt gang salute into a shirt? I mean Just a fan art of flip showing, you know, Orion Joe the salt gang salute and then looking at him confused Um artists get on that because we suck at drawing or at least I don't speak for you guys, but I'm real bad at it So So yeah, that's uh, that's the show stay tuned.

We'll be back next month with something else in a few months We will continue a tide fall. Thanks guys. Bye
