My work is at the intersection of justice, women, and faith. After college, I served three years in the U.K. with at-risk youth. Upon returning home, I served as an Outreach Pastor at an urban mega church where I engaged parishioners with marginalized individuals such as those experiencing homelessness, those who were incarcerated, the AIDS community, and women. In that time, I created Esteem, an outreach program to women in the sex industry and assisted in the development of, and spoke at, John School alongside the FBI Innocence Lost Task Force, local police, and Crime Stoppers which addressed men who bought women. After seven years of church ministry, I left to pursue writing full-time and started Sip and Savor, a women’s ministry in the Seattle area centered around fine food and wine. Sip serves over 500 women a year. My husband Derek and I, along with our two sons, Jericho and Kingston, live in Tacoma, WA.I teach women’s Bible study at Sip, co-host the Why Tho podcast, and speak at churches, conferences, and events. My work has been featured in Publisher’s Weekly, The Bible App, Red Letter Christians, Sojourners, The Jenny McCarthy Show, and more.Official Bio:Tiffany Bluhm is the author of Prey Tell: Why We Silence Women Who Tell the Truth and How Everyone Can Speak Up.
