I remember one of my first dates with my wife when we had a picnic on Turtle Creek. It was just a nice little park on Turtle Creek, and we went there and shared lunch. It was so romantic. Most people assume that the city of Dallas is taking care of all these parks. But they don't know that an amazing nonprofit stepped in to ensure this crown jewel is always buffed and shiny each year.
