Tigers Add Veteran Reliever Kinley | Detroit Tigers News

The Detroit Tigers just snagged veteran reliever Tyler Kinley off Atlanta’s roster, adding a savvy arm to their bullpen at low risk. Once a solid contributor with the Rockies and Marlins, Kinley flashed elite strikeout ability and a strong stretch last year with the Braves — despite a 4.01 ERA overall. Now, with the Braves still covering most of his salary, Detroit is betting on a bounce-back performance. The move comes alongside roster shuffles — optioning Ty Madden and DFA’ing Ricky Vanasco — as the Tigers fine-tune their bullpen for stability and impact.
