Detroit Tigers beat Baltimore Orioles in game 1 of a doubleheader at Comerica Park in Detroit. Casey Mize went 5.1 innings allowing just one earned run while the Detroit Tigers played tremendous defense behind him. Spencer Torkelson hit his 8th home run of the season and made several impressive defensive plays, as did Riley Greene. Will Vest closed the game for a 4-out save earning his third save of the season.
