Tigers Rally, Target Guardians | Cleveland Guardians News

The Detroit Tigers roar back with a 11-6, 12-inning thriller over the Twins, snapping a brutal two-game skid and injecting much-needed momentum ahead of their showdown with the Cleveland Guardians. After a rainout forced a doubleheader this Friday, the Tigers roll into the series with Keider Montero on tap to start — fresh off a strong Dodgers outing — followed by rookie Andrew Sears, Framber Valdez (despite recent woes), and Jackson Jobe closing things out. With the Guardians likely still reeling from their own rough stretch, the Tigers are all in to play spoiler and steal some crucial wins in this pivotal four-game set.
