Tigers Release Tyler Owens Mid-Series | Detroit Tigers News

Detroit Tigers surprise fans by releasing pitcher Tyler Owens mid-series against the Pirates — a move that overshadowed their win in Game 1. Owens, a 25-year-old righty drafted by the Braves in 2019 and called up last year, spent seven seasons in the minors before this unexpected cut. The Erie SeaWolves, Tigers’ affiliate, made the official release, and while roster moves happen, the timing during an active series has sparked curiosity. The Tigers now focus on closing out the series, with more details still to come. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
