Tigers Roster Shake-Up Details | Detroit Tigers News

Detroit Tigers shake up the roster with key moves: Tanner Rainey DFA’d, Gilbert Diaz called up to fill his bullpen spot. Position players John Peck (purchased) and Corey Jones (optioned) swap roles — a pitcher-for-pitcher, position-player-for-position-player trade. Bo Briske joins for acclimation ahead of roster expansion, while Riley Greene returns after rehab, set to activate tomorrow. Manager hints at September call-up potential but keeps it vague. Peck, recovering from hamstring issues and impressing in Triple-A, is slated to start at shortstop tomorrow and Wednesday — seen as a defensive anchor with growing offensive upside.
