Tigers' September Call-Ups: Brieske and Jung | Detroit Tigers News

As September looms, the Detroit Tigers eye two key prospects for their final roster moves: pitcher Beau Brieske, recovering from injuries and showing promise in his latest outing, and infielder Jace Jung, a high draft pick still seeking his big-league breakout. With a chance to add one pitcher and one position player before the season ends, both players offer a glimpse into the team’s future—Brieske as a versatile bullpen option and Jung as a rotational bat at third, first, or DH. While roster decisions could shift with injury or performance, this is the Tigers’ window to evaluate young talent ahead of 2027.
