Tigers Struggle Again in Rainy Loss | Detroit Tigers News

The Detroit Tigers crumbled again, falling 6-1 to the Los Angeles Dodgers in a rain-soaked Sunday slugfest — their fifth series loss in a row. Framber Valdez held strong early, but a two-run homer in the sixth and three more runs in the eighth (aided by wild pitches) sealed the fate. Tyler Glasnow dominated with seven innings of two-hit ball, while the Tigers’ offense barely scratched the scoreboard with just one run via an RBI single. Now five and a half games out of the final wild-card spot with 26 games left, the Tigers head into a brutal seven-game road trip against the Twins and beyond — if they don’t find offense soon, this season’s turnaround might be out of reach.
