Tigers Win But Struggle on Ground Game | Missouri Tigers Football News

The Tigers are off to a solid 2-0 start after a big win over Kansas, but the team’s performance is uneven. Quarterback Austin Simmons shines with an A, throwing for nearly 300 yards and three touchdowns, while receivers Donovan Olugbode and Cayden Lee make key plays. The run game, however, struggles with a C- grade—averaging under three yards per carry without Ahmad Hardy—and even Jamal Roberts’ 64-yard dash isn’t enough to fix it. The offensive line gets a C for decent pass protection but poor run blocking. On defense, the front seven earns a B+ by pressuring QBs and stopping the run, while linebackers shine with an A-. Robert Woodyard stands out with two turnovers leading to scores. Defensive backs get a C+ for holding opponents in check, but they need more pressure. Special teams? An F—urgent help needed if the Tigers want to go deep. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
