Afgelopen vrijdag presenteerde Rob Jetten, Dilan Yeşilgöz en Henri Bontenbal hun coalitieakkoord onder de energieke titel: ‘Aan de slag.’ Om echt aan de slag te kunnen heeft het drietal echter wel de steun nodig van de oppositie en die zullen ze niet cadeau krijgen. Samen met politiekverslaggever Cor de Horde bespreken we het akkoord en de pijnpunten hierin voor de oppositiepartijen.

Donald Trump heeft Kevin Warsh voorgedragen als nieuwe voorzitter van de Federal Reverve. Warsh zou daarmee Jerome Powell, de huidige voorzitter wordt regelmatig bekritiseerd door Donald Trump. De grote vraag is nu: is Warsh voorgedragen omdat hij beter past bij het gedachtengoed van Donald Trump? En komt met zijn benoeming dan ook de onafhankelijkheid van de Fed in het geding? We leggen de vraag voor aan onze beursredacteur Joost van Kuppeveld.
