'Til The Dawn
from John Dyhouse · host John Dyhouse
This lyric was quite a short one, I duplicated some of the lines to lengthen it a little. In revisiting these songs from my youth. I deliberately decided not to do any "heavy editing". I also decided to try to explain one interpretation of the lyrics. (See lyric below) Not sure now what I really had in mind, but in view of the state of the world at this time, this meaning was bought to the fore, One other interpretation was a cowboy running from the law (although innocent of any crime). It was another difficult song (wrt the original melody) for the AI to cope with as the written lyric did not translate from the audio upload in a straight forward manner. The 2 lines at the beginning of the first two verses, do not scan in a similar manner and it sounded wrong in the generated track. I tried to rewrite the offending line in one verse but it only made the issue worse and completely wrong-sided the AI. It took a few iterations before it righted itself and the melodies are still not that close to the original. "C'est la vie". ‘TIL THE DAWN (April, 1980) Let me change, your mind why don’t You stay until the morning light? I can make you happy ‘til the dawn. Come on baby stay with me Things are different, can’t you see? We can be so happy ‘til the dawn. Come the daylight, I must go Away from here. Where? I don’t know. I only know, I must be gone. I may be back, But I may not Come on baby stay with me Things are different, can’t you see? We can be so happy ‘til the dawn. Come on baby stay with me Think of things that should have been. We can be so happy ‘til the dawn.
