Till it is Crystal and Clear by Kai-Anne Clews

from Original Christian Poetry · host Kai-Anne Clews

Love Is the glove – One size fits all – Whether you’re Julius Caesar, Or flower of the Wall – No matter how lowly you consider your station, Love is still your supreme destination. No matter how highly you regard your standing, Love is still your souls demanding. No matter mediocrity – Love is for you No matter your sinning – Love is still true No matter No matter, Any-thing you can possess, You will never escape, Loves potent caress. Men try to hide it, Shelter behind many things, Some try to bind it, And force it with rings. It cannot be forced, Coerced or tamed, It is however often, Cursed and blamed. Those who lament that they receive no Love, Who weep in the shadows, and send curses above, How they know not, the truth of their condition, They give not, so receive not; that is their affliction. But Love is the fabric of sky and seed, Love is the triumph over insurmountable deeds, Love is the essence and duty of the spirit, Only invite it in, and have as it would will it. For Love, being pure, and composed from such light, Is truly the essence of the highest height – You’ve heard it said, and quoted above, For truly, truly, God is Love. So I say make your Love pure, Untainted from disease, Of jealousy and anguish, And pushing others to their knees. Distill your Great Love, so it bears no agitation, And you will find yourself arrived, At your Supreme Destination. Pick out the floating bits Of previous disappointments, Filter off the particles of passive aggressive fear, Distill your Great Passion, Till it is Crystal, and it is Clear. From contaminated Love, Comes no true hope, nor joy nor cheer, So, I say again, Purify Your Love, Till it is Crystal and it is Clear! Then its great potency knows no limit to grace, Then the stars do all align and shine to thy face.
