Riksrevisjonen kom nylig med flengende kritikk av befolkningens psykiske helsetilbud. Mange får ikke hjelp når de trenger det. Pasienter skrives ut før de er ferdig behandlet, og tilbudet varierer etter hvor i landet du bor. Skyldes det hvordan vi styrer og måler? En rekke styringsverktøy er tatt i bruk i psykisk helsevern: Flere lovfestede brukerrettigheter, mer detaljerte prosedyrer og retningslinjer, pakkeforløp, kvalitetsindikatorer, samt et nytt innsatsstyrt finansieringssystem (ISF), som setter en prislapp på spesifikke diagnoser og aktiviteter. I all iveren etter å detaljstyre, har vi mistet evnen til å tilby variert og god behandling som tar hensyn til behovene for enkeltmennesker og familier? He also serves as vice-president for the Global Center for Guidance and Renewal, which was founded and is currently presided over by Shaykh Abdallah bin Bayyah, one of the top jurists and masters of Islamic sciences in the world. Recently, Hamza Yusuf was ranked as “the Western world’s most influential Islamic scholar” by The 500 Most Influential Muslims. Hamza Yusuf has also authored several encyclopedia articles and research papers.
