The prophet and other members of the Quorum attempted to discipline Benson for allowing his political views to influence his religious leadership, but he continued to advocate for the John Birch Society and other radical causes, while promoting Christian nationalism.Benson's legacy lives on today and even seems to be gaining momentum, as illustrated by the recent OUR and Tim Ballard information that has come to light.
