Tim Curry: The Legend Who Transformed | US News

Tim Curry, the legendary actor who brought to life unforgettable villains and eccentric icons from Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show to Pennywise in It, has died at 80. A Tony-nominated powerhouse with a voice that could command any stage or screen, Curry’s career was defined by his fearless transformation into wildly imaginative characters — often exploring the “curiouser corners of the human mind.” His iconic British accent for Frank-N-Furter, born from a bus ride inspiration, became as legendary as the role itself. Though he initially distanced himself from the cult phenomenon, he later embraced the devoted fanbase that adored him. Even after a 2012 stroke left him wheelchair-bound, Curry kept creating — lending his voice to animated projects and proving his enduring magic. His legacy? A living gallery of unforgettable performances that will echo through generations. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
