As the president and CEO of the Colorado Automobile Dealers Association, Tim lobbied for many laws that were passed in Colorado, including with such clever framing as "the freedom to drive." So yes, Car Guy on a Bike Podcast. This show is about how we can make bike transportation a reality for people of all ages and abilities. And one thing we can be sure of is that the car industry has figured out how to organize society around cars. As Kevin Mayne, our last guest and the top bike lobbyist in Europe, pointed out, there's a lot we can learn from the car industry. That's why I wanted to have this conversation. I should note that it's also my view that we need to talk to people with whom we disagree.
