Raised amidst musicians in his family, including parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents, he absorbed musical influences while traveling to gigs during his early years. Growing up around festivals, Broadway bars, his father's instrument repair shop, and even backstage at the Opry, Timbo's music reflects a blend of traditional country and blues with a touch of modernity. His unique delivery of melody and the distinctive style of his band contribute to what has been termed "Soul Country."
