The Groundswell Church, LENT: Living On Borrowed Time [Spiritual Stewardship] · Ephesians 5 “When God puts something in your heart, execute it, and I think part of that is just the general stuff. And then there's the actual, what does he want for you? And that gets a little more complicated, doesn't it? takes discernment. God, what do you want for me? And I do believe he gives us each individually mission's at certain epochs or times. … What am I supposed to be doing now? … How am I supposed to act to this current season before me? And that's going to be taking some time to listen to God, and you can't listen to God if you're just wasting your time. That means you're going to give some time to God, and this is going to be the aspect of time to prayer. It's as simple as that.” Passage: Ephesians 5:15–16 Read the post: https://www.cyrilguerette.com/sermon-blog/2022-03-13-time Everything we have comes from God - every second, every minute, every hour, every day. The dollars we receive are from the Lord. Each breath is a gift. Our joys and even our feelings of anger can be a part of God’s plan for us. Spiritual Stewardship becomes a priority. This Lenten season building up to Easter we will be exploring the many gifts that God has loaned to us during the course of our lives. He has lent us all of these things and so much more in order that we can steward them to enjoy life together and show his goodness to our world. We are truly following Jesus when we make sure we are disciplined in our use of these gifts to help show the Kingdom of God on Earth.
