Time and Tension in a Season of Waiting

from The Vine Church Podcast

We often take time for granted. We assume that time simply marches on in a linear fashion; everything is past, present, or future, and we merely float along. During the Advent season, however, as Christians prepare for the coming Christ that is already here, as well as not yet, the concept of time becomes more ambiguous. Continuing on the theme of time that Warren discussed in his December 11 sermon, Jason and Warren return to the podcast to discuss time and how rethinking time in relation to our lives as Christians may be an important component to living out God's will. They also discuss the tension that grows during times of waiting, conflict, or distress and how Christians may understand and even utilize that tension for good.If you are interested in learning more about The Vine Church, please email Warren or subscribe to the weekly email newsletter.
