While her early-career Broadway resumé is impressive (Les Mis, Grease, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Annie), her Tony-winning performance in the title role of Thoroughly Modern Millie and her follow-up appearance as Jo in Little Women declare her an official Broadway star.
