Time is the Seed You Sow, Your Purpose is the Harvest ft. Joel Chamberlain

from Rethreading Lives Podcast · host Kristin Keen

We all have been given a finite amount of time on this earth. How can you take the time to enrich the community and expand your purpose? That's one of the questions I will answer in this conversation with Joel Chamberlain, a loving husband and father and successful accountant-turned-entrepreneur.  From a young age, Joel’s grandfather instilled a foundation of faith. Despite growing up in challenging circumstances, Joel maintained a powerful vision by focusing on the positive influences of his grandparents. Joel quickly learned to be intentional with his time, giving him an acute understanding of its value. His insightful wisdom on using time intentionally translates to everything Joel set his mind to, including his family and business. Joel discusses a point in his life when his time was unbalanced, consumed by work rather than his faith and family. Through this adversity, Joel sought the help of wise members of his community to help restore balance and intentionality to his time. This community support was instrumental in his transformation from an unbalanced life to a purpose-fulfilling balance. His openness to change and his determination to pursue his purpose is a powerful story of triumph over blame and shame. Now, as a former board member of Rethreaded, Joel shares his guidance and wisdom in this transformative episode of Rethreading Lives. Join us as Joel’s story captures the true essence of the Rethreaded Process and the powerful change that can grow from its application.Show Notes0:00 - Introduction of Joel Chamberlain and Overview of His Roles5:29 - Joel’s Involvement with Rethreaded and Board Membership7:11 - Joel’s Faith Background and Influence of His Grandfather10:49 - Focusing on Positivity Despite Difficult Situations15:32 - Importance of Time and Being Present for Family20:34 - Recognizing and Correcting Work-Life Imbalance25:39 - Ownership, Accountability, and Responsibility in Personal and Professional Life30:39 - Helping Entrepreneurs and Forward-Looking Financial Advice45:52 - Building Community and Intentional Family Life Guest InfoIG: chamberlain_joelFB: chamberlainpaLI: joelchamberlaincpaYT: FinancialSolutionAdvisorsPodcast Linkshttps://www.eosworldwide.com/traction-bookhttps://www.actioncoach.com/https://www.jamesehughes.com/https://www.aorhope.org/https://www.compassion.com/ Checkout Rethreaded Across All Platforms: Subscribe to our YouTube Channel Ready to learn more about Rethreaded?
