It's gonna be three Bull but hands of podcasts and I'm receiving alongside the pair on the phone bear. I'm glad to have you with us. How we doing? Well, we're doing all right just sitting here getting some work done I'm calling it as I'm telling getting ready for a nice early departure to Las Vegas tomorrow morning on Thursday for the for the Biggest ball might be my final my final biggest ball.
What well next year that I'm again I'm just kind of spitballing here next year the game is gonna move to later in the in the calendar in December And it's gonna be a bit of a higher profile game And it's probably gonna coincide more with some of college game days trips later in the year to whether it's the the semi-final or the Rose Bowl So I don't know this could be the final one for it. So it's not all right. Well, I hope it's not the top That's not the case. No better not be just in self-preservation mode here.
I have a proposal you mentioned that Vegas ball should be It should get better stature. It's a good break. Everybody wants to go there for a while again I have another proposal. This is for the pack 12 in the big 12 to get together Play a ball in Hawaii big one like a nice big ball who wouldn't want to go to Hawaii to play the ball game You know memory all days was the Aloha Bowl.
That was what Christmas Eve to her Christmas day Big Yeah Big ball pack 12 yeah, we get that game up right up again. Yeah, I mean we we got Buffalo going out in the Bahamas You know like I wouldn't why wouldn't somebody from the Pacific Northwest want to go to Hawaii the way these teams fly now Let's I think we need to get on that. That's a proposition. All right.
Anyway, I got a couple housekeeping things here I want to get to I created a bold mania group for us It I tweeted out the link it is Stanford Steve the plus sign the bear that is our group name The motto is got a love and underdog and just confidence points We'll come up with a prize when we see how we got everybody me and I will get together Friday When the games go off and we'll announce that probably Monday on the podcast what we want to do for the winter I want to do something nice. I got some helmets laying around from the old fshp Maybe that would be in the mix that would be a very in-demand product. You probably won't you'll probably be listening to this before you saw that Um, but 5pm ESPN 2 and then it's gonna be on ESPN news all the way up until the games start I even think they're probably running up until Saturday Touch down a little bit of the games Friday. So that was a lot of fun. Um, I hope you had as much fun as I did No, I did it was it was definitely uh Fun to just sit and kick around uh not only games with you but it gets some different ideas about some things from uh from Brad and Todd as well Surprise with well with with mouth over as high as confidence game there in the uh football mania That surprised me a little bit where he went with that game But uh a little little teaser for those who want to tune into that show a little bit on yeah or just hit him up on Twitter He loves answering questions Anything Right now in the bottom Okay, so after a night out would we probably just wake it up right now. Yeah, that's a very good point Uh, so we did a tv show.
Uh, I mentioned the games until the 24th here We will get every bull game covered eventually on these three podcasts. I do ask all right I'm a little tired of people asking whether we're gonna do the podcast. So I don't know what the point of pinning tweets is anymore if people are gonna read them Uh, so we are doing this one.
We are gonna do another one on the 23rd, which is next Monday All right, and that's gonna get you set all the way up until Probably Brother I knew you're Z if this was what we were so up to And then we're gonna do another pod on the 30th and that will take us all the way through So I just want to give you a housekeeping. I know everybody's got their pen and paper right down the dates Please we will obviously send out accordingly And then the column should be up. It's some Either tonight or tomorrow and the way we're gonna go that with the column is we're gonna kind of treat it kind of with a lot of live updates So maybe like basically that way we don't have to pick a game in the column today that we might have to be due on December 30th So, uh, basically what the way we're gonna approach it is as soon as we see a number and in a game that we like We're gonna post it a bad number and say this is a play for us and uh, just kind of add to it Um as needed as we see certain things that that pop up in the game Certain numbers or we get different information about players may be playing or not playing or so on and so forth So up make sure you check that thing out probably uh, I like to say daily and maybe if we're if we're all over it Good chance to see but I can maybe even just a tend a little hey just added something to the column So uh not prepared to check it out. Yeah, I'll probably tweet it out every morning David berryman does a good job of getting that stuff out of Ben Fox on always helping us out on the dot-com side But yeah, if you have a shocker count check that every day between us and i'm pretty suppressed and in dug and and all those other guys Are gonna have their bold picks on there.

Um, you know to charlotte 49ers. I love these two head coaches This is actually gonna be a play for me. I'm gonna take the 49ers and the points here Both teams lead led their conference in rushing yards per game And I'm I just I know charlotte's struggled on defense But I think they have their offense is better here and I will take the points here with the 49ers Like I said, I love the story. Uh, this is our fifth year at the fvs level They're going to a bowl game, which is just awesome and how much of a treat to be able to go to bahamas bowl in your first ever bowl It's got to be awesome.
I saw cochili tweeting out stuff today for recruiting and signing day from the beach So uh, shout out to those guys or old buddy travistaines on that staff now. Um, so uh, I like the 49ers Yeah, I'm I'm with you. I think you're looking at a team here that One five on a row down this stretch to get ball eligible three of them as an underdog outright obviously getting the win And I don't get a sense that this is going to be a situation where they are just Happy to be in their first ball game. I think they're gonna go out and play and obviously kick in the entire Bowl experience, but but go out and win the game as well and just be Really camp a historic type season and I agree with you.
Uh, anyone may in Reynolds in that offense outside of the clungson game Well, obviously they were completely overmatched and the western Kentucky game that whether offense really struggled by the way I think that was probably the impetus for their um For their turn around. We're actually had Charlotte plus the uh the minor so I guess the whole toppers and they went up losing By by double bitches. I haven't lost since so hopefully i'm not gonna be the uh, uh, the way on the back of Isharal and snap their losing streak here, but but I do think uh, hopefully they can have some succession We we've hit on the max struggles and voting but 215 straight up the last uh Last 17 games I think which look three years so i'm a matte team laying a big number against team But I think it's gonna be pretty excited to be there as well. I'm I'm with you.
See i'm taking the points This is seven out there at circa which right now as well which uh during Vegas, that's great I don't know. I don't have my my Don best screen in front of me Is well, but if there's seven available, I'm big it's probably means that you can find some seven elsewhere as well Love it before you always buy it up. Yeah Over under there's 50 Wow that opened that 57 and a half so Remember that was weird this last year remember there was a lot of a lot of steam I was last year or the year before the steam on the total windy bad weather and I think the game wide up Going over so I mean it had to be another situation where maybe it reaches a point where you want to just go over the total When else yeah that that wind is a factor down there. Uh, so it's uh good to Good to check that stuff out.
I you know, I mentioned that the teams lean the conferences they play in and rushing So it might be a little fast-paced clock there going so just be careful with those numbers I know everybody tends to lean towards the over and bowl games because of preparation But you gotta remember the defense has just as much time to prepare for the offense as these offenses do for the defense So I just find that funny when everybody always just mentions the offense is that more time to prepare all right moving on later that day The frisco bowl is that toy or the stadium? I believe that's a soccer stadium, right? All right Real real Dallas. What's what's there?

It was and it was the gate the night of The first time the penguins and red wings played in the Stanley Cup final It was the other side in game and I wound up finding a it was a nice country club type area actually like found a staircase that went downstairs to some other room or was like nobody in it and there was a cat doing like a locker room kind of area I think almost It was really really nice and quiet and it's kind of don't TV happens to work. Oh, here's a nice first line. I let me uh Watch the final game of the up to the final there that first Go around the game, but it's too expensive. They said cage for his books.
I can't jump on that. So I'm not going No, actually there is there is no cage for this year from uh From game day to the ball game because we will be uh already on the ground and Inglendale, so I'm sorry. Yeah, but I can't even imagine Take a part of this game. They're there.
There's only is there has only been one College football playoff game that like nothing is like like it's been complete impossibility to get anything for that was the Alabama Georgia title game. All right So let's get back to that frisco bowl Kent state utah state utah state utah state Some stuff going on off the field. Um there the line is dropping and um, it's I don't know. I'm totally biased there right now. I don't really like the game I just know the history of Kent state is their third bowl game ever They're all into coming into the game and brian winhorse is a Kent state grad and I love winhorse is one of my favorite Yes win one for winhorse is the claim and that's where we're gonna go with i'm gonna get crazy And uh, i'll pick i'll pick 10 state in my bowl mania fix Maybe get that hashtag trending on twitter win one for win horse There we go ball whatever I mean, it's hard to have any real conviction on this game not knowing if it's a lot of the rights we're gonna play for you Does it and if they don't play obviously that you you would tend to lean towards 10 state, but but i'm with you I don't have a great field, but I am I would like to see Kent state win the game anytime you get a team that's my ball for a while You get your play.
Arizona state Auburn it was constant in the non conference and you wind up getting the six wins To get to a ball game. I want to see you succeed and do well and see that team wins So I get no no future plan on the game, but I want to get to it. Yeah, uh So there's our bias depending right there because of our friend Over what you go wrong. Yeah, that over's gone up.
That's at 68 now. That's man. That's a lot All right, so those are friday's games and then saturday You'll be in vaguest the slate becomes very very full. There's also three NFL games that day if you like the NFL I will be watching the bowl games.
There's no doubt about that First up on the docket new mexico bowl fire up chips are headed the albacurki to take on the Aztecs Um, I I don't know I this game Sango state is still uh three and a half now over under 41 The one thing I have and it feels too good to be true But the under I think it's 10 10 one and one in sango state games this year Uh from what our research department tells me and um, it's tough for me to go against indigo state and bowls I know he doesn't have a great record But they are always a pain in the ass to play against and central michigan just I thought my evil hilot You called it they did a great job of taking them out of their game plan and just making it an ugly ugly game in that max title game And sango state is a king of making things ugly. So I would lean sango state here bear I mean, the rocky long homecoming to out the albacurki former uh, love those the staff are down there. I wonder type of home field event I'm not going to go home field advantage, but uh You just said go back to albacurik with it. They believe some eggs and bowl games though, uh As well and I don't love the game I One of those this will be one of those where in the in the ball confidence pool I'll take central michigan for up for a lower number of points just to just to be a little bit different And I kind of think of the way that regular season ended last there last week or two weeks ago in the match championship game You go from one to eleven to playing for the map title and you're saying right away to loosen the game I think it's an opportunity for them to get back and have an opportunity to make a little something and have a Whether it's a banner or just kind of a headline for this season Matt matt matt division champ to the bowl bowl game champions.
It's a little bit of an accolade So unless they are just absolutely physically outmatched at the line of scrimmage, which is possible that could mean this is this game I think it's a great illustration or one of the many for just live betting and I think early on in this game You'll probably get a pretty good idea as to whether indeed the San Diego State defense will indeed control the game But going into it if I have to bet it for you, I'll I'll take central michigan Just a holy mare and those confidence pools or whatever that we have to do. I'll take the chips for a for a firm member there Yeah, that's gonna be interesting some weird things happen on that new Mexico bowl. I remember a couple years ago I was at leave Was that was I mean that was why you can never trust leech a late in the game? It was it was mind-boggling the things you did Alright going ahead or land those city stadiums the host of the cure bowl liberty Georgia southernd this line was six I believe it opened out.
Wow now it's four 58 and a half this game actually fascinates me and I really pumped to watch this one because of the contrast in styles I'm not sure. Um, you know, I should say I'm not sure liberty. I mean good for them I understand people at you know what I'm holding their schedule and all that stuff You know they didn't play a great schedule neither of you seems did But you know what they're here man and he frees started the season in a hospital bed in the press box and now he's got a scene to a bowl So if you want progress, I think that's pretty good progress. They didn't look good against Syracuse and I'd open her I watched it and Georgia Southern my favorite uniforms in the sport You know what they bring to the table with that option they've had it down here But they're still able to beat Appalachian State so that tells me that their ceiling is pretty darn good Like I said the contrast in styles here.
I just want to see what works shy works the quarterback for Georgia Southern Is just one of those tough players. I love you know the option they even came out in the old triple I pistol this year Which is my Twitter avatar because I love the formation so much But I'm a little partial here because I always pull it down to pull for Georgia Southern But I think it's gonna be a good game. I would Point out you know liberty if they've seen anything like this And I'm not sure they have is how you know cohesive that Georgia Southern offenses. I would lean Georgia Southern here.
Yeah, I don't have a strong feel or a Anything I would be saying would be a total guess. I'm just gonna defer to you on this game and I will watch it I will enjoy it and that's pretty much I have nothing to uh to all vent or the Make the gate or Whatever with your weapon in there. All right, uh very good moving on Let's go the chair of undie bokeh retone ball, which is one of my favorite picks of the whole both season SMU minus three at fau I say at fau because fau Is at fau home state? I'm not sure what the jersey is here though Um, but I think SMU is is way better at every single position on the field You know great season for fau.
We know kiffins obviously going to Oxford I feel like the indecisiveness all along that the coaching staff He's taking some guys already some guys I think are still coaching not knowing what their future is Which is a tough spot and I'm just not sure how bought in FAU is, you know, you know, you know, they played a couple years ago I believe in this bowl game, uh, you know as you play a game at home Um, so how motivated are you and I just feel like I said you I know they ended the season two and two right there because they were eight and All right, when you guys you guys went to Um, I just think that I mean they got the shell is awesome proce robertson Those guys are really really good football players and like I said, I think that's some use of barrier in every position So I like SMU a lot one of my probably my favorite uh bowl pick of the season And I think that there is something to be said there for uh, all the talk with some of these games about guys skipping bowl games Not playing that you do have guys who decided to come back to school and say we are playing and that's what s and you had Uh, with a lot of guys. I I'm not a uh, I'm not a fan like saying the whole bowl moment and carried over to 2020 I think it's a bit more like hey, this is an opportunity for us in uta To win a bowl game and put it put a stamp on what's been a uh, pretty successful season And you hear whispers out there about About like maybe I might do some guys for it forever you that might not be playing I don't know if it's like academics or just drafts or whatever, but I don't know who but like I heard that like second half from somebody I'm like hey, you're anything about that you might not be playing out like I have not so So that might that might be something to watch as well But I'm with you the only thing that concerns me in this game is uh, we know It's a question that you would like to ask and you like certainly bring up during instantly all the time is like Have you yet to hear anybody murder the sentence? I like I heard you in this game. That's the only thing that would keep me all that for you But it might not matter.
I think I said you it was just better and it would certainly be the side that I would take care Very good. Uh, yeah, I just you know, I understand the people with the public and all that stuff in in the percentages I've heard people talk about with the money and stuff like that, you know, it's it's up around 60% when that money is is uh, what is it? 75 or something like that. Um, this could be one of those games But I just feel like these guys got a bunch of transfer SMU's got a bunch of transfers They loaded the roster with them and these guys look forward to going to a bowl game What's better than going to end in your season in south in south florida?
So yeah, that was a really good win by SMU to end the regular season. They're beating up beating joy and pretty badly There is no embarrassment in losing to maybe by a touchdown and moving on the road in that position so no I know it was a really good season for for SMU. I think they should end up with the one as well Very good. Uh, I will defer to you on the next one the commiliable.
Um, my company, Alabama and your butch Davis My guy. Yeah, I like them here. Okay, so Two and a half. I think two and half in most places that maybe maybe there are some threes out there.
You maybe buy it up Three maybe take them on the money line, but but but this is the team and then they got the six wings by pulling the big upset over Miami Uh, they've got it. I think the guy was gonna get drafted and change for the court of acquisition They got a couple of running backs. I think you can Have some success against an Arkansas safety fence that is outside the top 100 and expected points Uh, the Arkansas state did a great job handling a ton of injuries this year Uh, we'll we'll see what happens in this game But uh, I just trust butch Davis to get this team ready and prepped and game planned for a ball I mean, I think they're saying like a lifetime achievement award for for bowl readiness against the spread Uh, it goes to butch Davis and this is a team that uh, not just him but whether it's been here Whether it's been Miami whether it's the North Carolina Uh, butch Davis is taking one against the number in bowl games and the only time they didn't cover Was when they were about to touch down underdog against temple a couple of years back and they're starting quarterback got hurt Early in the game when they were right in the game and they want to lose in him early on and that didn't have a player Offensively after he got hurt. So, uh, this is the guy and a staff that decks teams ready to play Um, I'm just gonna back a value here getting to a half All right.
Love it. Uh, like I said, I just Don't really have a feel for that and that's what my other point in these bowl games I've said plenty times going on shows and even in our bowl special, you know, information so key here and you just don't know, um, you know, Where guys heads are at and you know, we're saying, you know, what we think is gonna happen and that's what we think so You guys feel like we're gonna lose picks and people will fire away. Oh, how could you think that? Well, I didn't hear you from you before the game.
So, you know, I'm sorry I can't be the extra Monday morning quarterback like many of you guys are checking in after the result is over and we give out a loser So, uh, hope that makes you feel good during the most wonderful time of the year And that's why we're these ball games. Uh, we we we joke about like trying to play Psychologist and motivation and when you don't have a feel don't just die it games about to kick off I need to send in a play that this is where in game and live betting is so key because you get to see a couple of drives and Oh, wow, look at all those guys. It's pretty close. We didn't know they all weren't gonna play and and that's an opportunity to They didn't mean what while maybe you're not gonna get a better price or as good of a price as you might have gotten before the game You have a lot more information and you give yourself a much better chance to win And this is something that I mean I learned the hard way Playing psychologist within that big is ball a couple of years ago We would Oregon and Boise State Oregon players while being we want Mario crystal ball to be our hit coach higher him higher And they do a lot so they're gonna be motivated to go out and play her birds back.
They're gonna prove that the higher right There's no way they'll lose to Boise and they'll go off about a touchdown favorite and they were never in a game So so I get all you got to do is see a couple of series in that game To realize Boise State was the right side and you would have taken a lot of risk out of it So uh, when you went in doubt if you do have an opportunity that To live that a game and having you to do that I certainly think that that is the way to go with a lot of these especially the early games where we look we watch a lot of College football we like to think we know and we can look at numbers we can look at match We haven't seen a ton of Arkansas State this year. We haven't seen a ton of Utah State We really don't know we can guess but uh I just I just think that we're wanting to out just wait as long as you can before actually jumping in get involved Absolutely Moving ahead the game you'll be at the Vegas ball Washington and Boise and man they just stick it to Chris Peterson. I mean I get it, you know, they think about the story But like this has to be the one team he did not want to have to face in his last game coaching at Washington, right? I would think not.
I mean They built that program at a big part to build it to the program that it became and now we Have to face them in this game I'm sure it's a little a little bittersweet and uncomfortable and be curious in the flip side too You the interesting thing is I joke a little bit about it prior to the Talk about game, but with the baseball Is going to be the final go around for the mountain west in this game? It's a little bit of a slight a little bit of a slap in the face of the conference They were dropping you and it's now going to be a Big big 10 team against a pack 12 team or big 10 or sec versus pack 12 like the mountain west high is going away Just do this could be an opportunity for the uh for the conference to set the team in there to win a game And we certainly know Boise State has had their share of success against pack 12 teams what went in 10 of the last 13 outright Had a really good run in this ball game against pack 12 teams this number just looks good I mean, it looks like so obvious that Washington and this number would be the right side I mean, we've talked about it that you does probably been Uh, if not the most disappointing team in the year this year one of the two most disappointing teams in the year And for them to end the year with the ball win it sent sent coach p dot where I mean that you would think they'd be uh Ready and motivated to play this game, but gosh I don't know why that'd be so leery about like in the three and a half year for gonna have you with wash They've just they've had some kind of mind boggling performances this year with that cow game certainly being won And then uh blowing fourth quarter lead both the Utah and to Oregon this year Yeah, I mean they're right there. They Washington doesn't lose at home and they lost three games at home this year with elite You know that that just doesn't make sense. I like Washington here.
Um, I'm looking at the numbers on ESPN dot com It's actually all Boise which surprises me. Yeah, um, I know Washington has a couple guys out Uh, I don't want I'm just running to get in trouble when people are getting ahead. So listen up Um, I'm not I think Boise State really really really overachieved this year. Does that make sense?
It makes a tough I think based on what the injuries that they had a quarterback and really not sure what they were for a while I think that makes sense, you know, I I get it credit to them coming back in the heat and the sun down in Tallahassee week one But wasn't it really that good of a win? I mean, I'm not trying to disagree, you know, but like, you know, we built that thing up and bokmires a Heisman candidate and the whole thing And then the poor kid, you know, just got thrown at a well I mean he just got beat up, you know, didn't even make it through the season and then you know They come in core gets hurt too and it's credit to their coaches staff having another third guy coming I love them going to Utah State late in the year I thought that was the fish it was actually a rough it scared me off a little bit to give it as an official pick And then calling that week and I ended up being out on that week just because I thought they were superior to Utah State Well, I didn't think of a lot at all this year. So I think Boise played out of their minds this year The defense played great. We were having They have talent on that D line.
There's no doubt about that But I think Washington with you know rallying the troops around Peterson and Jimmy like to really try and you know His name out there, you know for the first time of really having his own stamp on something with him, you know Waiting in the wings there. I like Washington here. I trust the Peterson way to go about things here and um, he's been he's been Incredible to to people that listen to this podcast when we're talking about people that bet on the sport So I can't go away and not back Peterson here We sure have some more picks and some confidence picks for your confidence pools in bull mania But first bear talking about erectile function isn't easy Usually people just brush it off and blame themselves saying things like I just lost my mojo or an avoid it all together with excuses Like I have a long day at work or sorry honey. I mean, it's getting him to stay in that Maui. I would rather have and I had to go I at first thought uav but then I just I like what's going on at fstate I like how they could build this into next year with the new coach coming along as trick what's going on in this hurry So I took marshal when it came to which one I would rather take with those points Um, just because I feel like there's more stability with marshal. I thought uav was really fortunate to get I mean They did it they still won the games, but they were pretty fortunate because it will happen a lot tech with those suspensions to even get into that Conference USA title game. So I I think fstate is worthy of a big time point total in that conference bowl in boa mania And um, I don't really like either underdog, but when you ask me I picked marshal, um, you see f I mean that's that's no they're kind of way under the radar when people are talking about motivation here Look at the two bowl games. They played in previously the last two years and look where they're going now They're going not even an hour away from campus.
So, um, not sure what the old ucf guys will be up to so Um, be wary of that gas for illable Uh marshals played some good competition this year went out and gave Boise all the fits Uh, they could have early in the year. I think it was actually the week after they went to tell as it was so um, be careful Be careful of those two games with what you want to do. I want to talk about what you wait a day I mean they they played basically like four teams with a pulse this year Just a bit of a problem.

A you lose 49 six and then you play shorthand that losing on attack You needed a you need suspensions to win by six on your own field And then you needed what makes them fine to throw a pick six when they're about to go down multiple scores In that game for the distance I hate this because we were on UAB when they came back and we love the procrab and we love dog bar for this is a values I mean, I don't want to use the word fraudulent of a This is a total mismatch in terms of the ability in team strength and You're you're right about these. I mean, I can't see you see up losing tomorrow.
I mean, I do think that I mean There are other reason opportunity that you see us could potentially overlook it may certainly have Lost over game this year as big favorites So but I would think that they would at the very least it'd be a team that you could use a very high confidence point to win the game Outright, but I would have more confidence in taking the state of the 17 or whatever it is with Marshall against You see up that I would take the points of UAB Very good. I think it's a chance for them to To kind of just put it both time and season where they're a long price to get to the That was tough for championship game that got there couldn't pull it off and it's a chance for them to do something good this year I know clearly BYU has a better wings on the year Uh, winning at Tennessee beating usc but but Hawaii has beaten Uh, pachwal teams out there, uh, had that game against Oregon State early in the year where somehow they they had a great comeback to to win that game Um, so uh beat Arizona early in the year So they certainly are uh, or tested at home against some of the uh, the mode of the power five competition and some of those better teams and Uh, they they show they can win a close ugly defensive game Uh, but you say they could say for it. It's not just Spread running shoes throw the ball up and down the field and have to win 52 for the enemy They can win a lowest for a game if they need be and uh, I like the job that Nick Rolla bit just done I think they have an advantage on the sidelines stats, uh, in this game. So I do like Hawaii getting the uh, a short number at home here All right, uh, that's actually I just contrast the styles man. I like that that match up to watch Uh, hopefully, um, I don't know what I'm gonna do.

So I like florida Um, I like uh, I do have lsu up there to probably five five or six Um, but uh, I'm trying to think florida Florida app florida app state and north carolina are probably my top three.
I really like SMU. I'm thinking about putting them up there Um, what about you, but Yeah, I think we're all looking at the same ones uh, uh, UCF. I think obviously uses In Appalachia state, I'd be surprised by those lost the game on the florida I mean, quidard is gonna play and cj Henderson stopped playing but I don't know if that's the biggest loss against the Virginia team that I don't think All thanks. We will give much of a threat Through the air against that defense and then lsu I mean it's hard to think That this local this version of the Oklahoma team that's gonna be even more short-handed than uh, they already are It's gonna be the last year.
I mean, I do think Um, there is an opportunity here or there to uh, maybe take a shot with some other dogs I said that the one thing in addition to the live betting is don't be afraid to pick underdogs to win outright If you go back some 2008 underdogs are covering 52 percent of the time, which is pretty much what you would think 50 50 a t s over a 10 or 11 year span. However, at the same time of the 52 of the dogs that covered 73 of them won the game outright So don't be afraid to take underdogs on the money line to win outright And I think a couple of those that that I have in mind may be Boston College about being one No agent doing no coach, but I think getting seven against up since they might have an opportunity to uh To maybe pull a little bit of shock or we mentioned charlotte If I hear we mentioned that before I stated the team Uh, that may be against that Arizona state with with with Rob water receiver without you know Benjamin most likely that that could be a spot for flower estate to kind of make an impression for the new coach Why I mentioned it's a short-order. I was stated as another underdog that I could see winning outright Michigan, uh, who knows what's gonna happen without vama? Uh, you know, you know, days of Lewis aren't gonna play I think the wide receiver's gonna play but we'll see what happens then Michigan would be a massive contrary and play I think in your company's goals and then a Oregon and the Rose Bowl smaller dog might be one that you might want to Look at playing as well.
So it was just some uh some underdogs you might want to consider there very well Uh, I actually I'm I'm gonna be on joey public side here. I like bama Uh, uh, I think they're gonna be one of my official plays for both season I just don't think michigan can hang with that offensive the receivers gonna play jude, tweed out He's playing uh, so and I love what I saw from jones in the iron bowl against the better defense than what michigan's brand It's able um and the defense is the defense like nickel probably gets in the younger guys that I want to play Uh, so that that scares me for a bit and I know michigan is like that they're building this up to be like Oh, this just puts a this makes everything well in arbor. Um, but man if they don't get it done, it's just gonna be bad Uh, so like since uh 2015. Yeah, you know the local storeable friend your big 10 teams three and nine Of course, it's the team two ball games to a billion same big 10's got to be tired of planning I said like let's let the packs well get a piece that'd be awesome for suc packs well team or game in vegas next year I love it.

I think like inside the way I was just getting nauseous watching that game knowing that I had the right side and you can see it coming a mile away Uh, but I was gonna lose some but yeah, so the sun belt outside of uh, that's our six seven and one for my couple of years So uh good luck. That was a game. I didn't have a super opinion.
I thought I'll but I have now more reason to uh to root for Just something for you and the and the kind of coach. Yeah. All right. So just to recap I like I really like SMU in this first bunch of bowl games.
I really like SMU later on I'll probably be good I like Louisville as an underdog and I like to tuckie I think both those teams are gonna be bringing and be plenty motivated later on the slate and these other early slates before christm Seve I like Washington. I just I just I just want I trust that and I feel good that they'll come out with it with an a effort um, so that's right. I'm really really in an SMU and um That's basically what I have in these early ones. We gave you our liens Uh, you know, I never game and we'll continue to do that through all these podcasts.

Like what would you expect a team that's lost at george tech lost to do lost to fiu? Nearly lost to central nation as guys sitting out I mean you talked about wanting a big name opponent of all game and now you get basically the exact opposite of that Having to go to shreveport and what's gonna be a road game against releasing out a tech team that should have been a better ball game Should have been in the conference with a championship game suspended players are back It's an opportunity for them to to kind of make a little bit of a meng for costing their team a shot to the conference side By beating up on a name team in my ami so give me lots of points there and then i was state I think if i was super ball it was kind of like an unfulfilled Sike's one super ball you called it. It is a little bit of an unfulfilled season One point lost to Oklahoma one point lost to Iowa like that close from being able to win 10 years because i'm showing it a year Um, what what for 13 or whatever it was on the road against can't stay on third down in the final regularly season games are really strong But now you get another game in Orlando in a ball game that probably half the state of Iowa will Will town there escaping the of the winter temperatures down in the state of Florida for that game It's kind of the damned if you do damned if you don't type ball game. I think the Notre Dame If you win well, it's okay.
Well, it's supposed to be Iowa state, but if you lose it's like how could you lose Iowa state? It's just a rough spot. I think for Notre Dame area and you look at that Campbell I was state 13 and three against the number in their last 16 games dog under him It just seems like Iowa state was brought pretty and that defensive that could give uh, Ian book in the arish offense Enough of a problem to at the very least keep this as a uh A field goal type damn and then I know it's a little bit of a um, I can try and rain from a lot of people think right now, but I like a m and I know the number seven I know I was banking true. I'll try about playing.
I was but now he's gonna play. I mean, I didn't say it was there Choice that he wasn't who knows about Spencer sander that I don't know, he threw out something that oh he could play I mean no talent while it's still I kind of view this is like the first game of the 2020 season for a m Hit on with Iowa state before But a m playing that schedule with three different number one right teams played Georgia as well played Auburn as well couldn't get that big marquee win I think jimbo a lot of youth on that team and it's an opportunity for them I think to uh take a little bit of something away from the season games and using so I think there are a lot of signs pointing to uh And I came to the Boston college as well. I know they don't have a coach. I know Dylan is employing But the uh, they're all things played pretty well and the other back that came in for dog David Bailey I think it's him he's had some some big games this year as well.
Uh, it's just Cincinnati team that I think they might have a little bit taken out as in the last couple of weeks It's meant to set a chance to win a conference title and a chance to go to the year Go to your six ball game.
