Time to have that difficult conversation

So your life isn't where you thought it would be 12 months ago. You're still struggling with the same challenges, stuck in the same job, living in the same place, etc., and it seems like for all you've 'done' this year... ...not one thing has changed. It's time. Time to have that difficult conversation with yourself. Time to be brutally honest with yourself and own up to the reality that it is your choices, your decisions, that are responsible for you being where you are. I know nobody really wants to hear that. They'd rather blame other people and things outside of themselves for everything that's gone wrong in their lives. Fact is, you're the only person present at every disaster in your life.
