"Times of Refreshing"

03 August 2025 Daily Devotion: "Times of Refreshing"Acts 3:19 New International Version 19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. How good do you feel when you know you've done something wrong? Do you try to sweep it under the rug andcarryon with life? Most believers have discovered that trick doesn't work. We will never experience joy while living in disobedience to God. The more we try to hide our sin, the more our joy turns to guilt and shame. The enemy would love for us to just live that way, but God wants so much more for us. There is no place for shame in our hearts, but we have to choose to release it. We can turn away from our disobedience and turn to God. When we do that, He wipes the shame away and fills our hearts with a fresh joy. What have you been trying to hide? It's time to lift the rug and let it out. There is nothing too big for God to forgive. Don't let it stand in the way of you living joyfully.
