Timing: Good Faith & Good Fortune (with Josh Robertson)

from Bigger Than Business · host The Capital Chart Room

How do you go from making $19,000 a year to being a vendor for the White House? How do you weather troubled times to preserve your family and stay afloat personally and professionally? What does it take to start a business at 22 and grow it into a $60 Million company? Listen as our guest shares his path of entrepreneurship from start-up to multiple thriving businesses, what it’s like to partner with a parent, and how focusing on the needs of others can prove that life can be Bigger Than Business!  Josh Robertson founded his first company, National HME, at age 22, which grew to over 20 locations in six states and partnered with over 500 hospice programs before he sold it in 2015. Josh and his father also founded GrowCo Capital in 2014, which invests resources into business and real estate projects throughout the US. In 2017, Josh co-founded Teleos Marketing, and in 2018, he bought JMed, a then 21-year-old medical equipment company, now called MasVida Health Care Solutions. In 2019, Josh bought EMist, a company that provides high-quality, intelligent disinfection solutions, whose revenue grew to $65 million during COVID-19. Josh currently serves as president for both MasVida and EMist. Josh and his wife, Kristina, founded Project 4031, a 501c3, which focuses on helping families with terminally ill children and adults meet basic needs, provide peace and comfort by easing financial burdens, and fulfilling the last dreams of the terminally ill. Josh graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA, Honors Management and Marketing, and also earned an Executive MBA. He is active in the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate and founding President for the Rawls Raiders Alumni Network. Josh enjoys fly fishing, hunting, golf, and spending time with his wife Kristina, and their three sons. Bigger Than Business is the show where you’ll discover real-world stories of business owners living their purpose. You’ll encounter men and women all over the world who draw strength from understanding why they do what they do and how they remain true to that purpose through the ups and downs every business owner will face. www.thecapitalchartroom.com
