Timothy Connolly: Las Vegas' Singing Ukulele Maestro

from Visit Vegas Places with Coyal · host Coyal Harrison III

Send us Fan MailTimothy Connolly talks with Coyal about his journey as a musician coming to Las Vegas right before the Covid pandemic and how it changed the Las Vegas music atmosphere drastically.Born on Long Island during the Nixon administration. Handsome lifelong American bachelor of Sicilian/Irish descent. Professional singer and bandleader (music producer too) in New York City for 25 years before moving to Las Vegas in 2018 for new adventures in the great American west. While singing remains a talent of mine, it is the strumming of ukuleles (baritone and tenor especially) which has become my greener pastures. I use Fender gear and I strum a thousand songs (from the 1920s to the 1980s.) Once upon a time I thought I was a musician, until the day I realized that I'm music. We are all music. Our very existence is music.I use a Fender tenor ukulele with Italian strings.I perform acoustic or electric.I perform whilst wearing my signature laidback beachcomber attire (including one of my many signature Cuban button-down guayabera shirts. Audiences never know which one I'll wear next.)Book Timothy Connolly AKA "Sonny Calzone" for your next event in Las Vegas, Henderson, and Boulder City.https://www.youtube.com/@roundhousenetworkhttps://www.facebook.com/timothy.connolly.92Subscribe to Visit Vegas Places with Coyal Never miss an episode again!Plus get behind the scenes coverage with business owners and chefs.Have you thought about hosting your own podcast show? If so, I have provided links below to get you started in the right direction.
