Tinker Clocksworth and the Angry Machines

from Fable's Adventures: Bedtime Stories & Bedtime Meditations for Kids 5-8 · host StoryFlight Labs, PBC

Tinker Clocksworth and the Angry MachinesTinker Clocksworth is a young pig inventor who talks to things—not just people, but plants, machines, and anything that needs kindness. In Dr. Cogsworth's greenhouse, Tinker has built a time-turner from clock gears, a bicycle wheel, silver bells, and a blue ribbon that makes plants grow faster! But something goes wrong—the greenhouse starts shaking with angry ticking, and plants grow in impossible spiral shapes. The noise is coming from below: the old clock factory that's been sleeping for a hundred years is waking up, and the giant machines are confused and upset! Brave Tinker descends into the darkness and discovers enormous machines with wheels as big as houses and a tremendous clock with stuck hands. Instead of being scared, Tinker listens. Tinker apologizes for waking them too quickly, explains about the greenhouse, and tells the lonely machines they're still important and loved. With gentle words and patient understanding, Tinker calms the angry ticking and helps the machines feel peaceful and useful again.A heartwarming story for ages 5-8 about empathy, listening with patience, and discovering that confused or broken things aren't bad—they just need someone kind enough to understand them.Themes: Empathy and active listening, talking kindly to everything, machines and inventions, patience and understanding, apologizing when you make mistakes, helping lonely things feel important, gentle problem-solvingPerfect For: Ages 5-8, teaching empathy and patience, inventor and machine stories, kids who love steampunk aesthetics, stories about listening before reacting, pig protagonists, gentle adventure, bedtime storiesTags: #KidsStories #InventorStory #PigHero #ListeningWithCare #MachineStory #EmpathyStories #FablesAdventures #ChildrensStories #BedtimeStories #KindnessStories #AudioStoriesForKids #ProblemSolvingPart of Fables Adventures - Stories teaching that listening with kindness can solve problems and help confused or lonely things feel loved again.Content Advisory: Perfect for ages 5-8!
