Paul gives Titus a very important charge. Paul gives Titus his primary goal, and that is to stay in the word of God. How important it is to keep the word of God as the foundation of your life. Paul is instructing Titus to stay on the island of Crete, to take care of the church there, and to appoint elders there. These elders we’re supposed to be examples of good and up right leaders, who could be examples to others of godly living. Godly living starts with the word of God. How important it is that we keep the word of God as our daily priority.
