Titus 1 - Power
from Engage Church | Vancouver Hosted by Every Nation Metro Vancouver
Main Bible Verse: Titus 1:1-9 (see also, James 4:7; 2 Corinthians 13:10; 2 Timothy 2:2) Sticky Statement: We experience God’s life for us, as we rightly relate to power. Discussion Questions: Paul told Titus to find people who could resist the power of temptation (1:6), use their power to bless others (1:6), and to submit to the authority of the truth (1:9). Why does a right relationship to power enable us to be loving, godly people? Which is most difficult for you personally - to resist, use, or submit to power? How could the one you are weak in, be helped by the other two? What would that look like? Pray for each other in this regard.
