Titus 2

In Titus 2, Paul provides guidance for different groups within the church. He calls on older men to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, and to have sound faith and love. Older women are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, and to teach what is good. Young women are to be lovers of their husbands and children, self-controlled, pure, and kind. Young men are to be self-controlled, showing integrity in their conduct and sound speech. Paul emphasizes the importance of good works and living in a way that brings credit to the teachings of God. He encourages all believers to live lives of godliness and holiness, as they await the return of Jesus Christ.
