Titus 2 Tuesday Welcomes Back FURTESHA CARTER for Metro Council 13 in Nashville, TN Get to know Furtesha Carter… Furtesha Carter is a true “Nashvillian” born and raised. Growing up in Nashville allowed her to inherit a unique appreciation for southern hospitality. Furtesha quotes, “Without God, family and friends what do you have in life? In my world, those are my three focuses.”Whether it be in real estate or volunteer programs, she finds great joy in using the talents God has provided her in order to help people. Furtesha is the proud parent of a teenage daughter and son and is called Momma to many teenagers through Nashville’s Communityfoster care system. She is the founder of a non-profit mentoring program, Sister 2 Sistah that caters to middle-school age girls throughout the Nashville and surrounding communities. Because the majority of her family resides within the Nashville area, Furtesha has been allowed to spend spring/summers barbecuing and fall/winters entertaining in her home with family and friends which she truly enjoys. Furtesha attended Daymar Institute for Accounting and is attending Bethel University for Business Management. Her skill set has provided her vocational opportunities from church secretary to accountant. Her personality has allowed her to be an affective cheerleading coach, PTO president, and community volunteer. But her passion to connect community and family drives her efforts to serve as your metro council representative for District 13.
