What is a healthy church? The assumption a lot of times is that only churches that are big, popular and have far reaching influence represent what it means to be healthy. Here's the truth: The Bible dictates to us what a healthy church looks like. That's why Paul writes a letter to Titus: to establish a healthy church on the Island of Crete. In this, we learn that healthy churches have healthy leaders; healthy churches have healthy doctrine and center themselves on the radical nature of God's grace; healthy churches have healthy social relationships and community; and healthy churches embrace a healthy mission, all rooted in the gospel.
