TJGT Spring Preview at Bear Creek

Houston's David Lee aces the 175-yard par-3 number 17 on the Bear Creek East Course and sits one shot off of the lead tied for third with a 76 in the Boys 16-18. Southlake¹s Justin Wileman shares the first round lead with Alex Carpenter after both shot 75 in very windy conditions. Over 80 players teed it up in this nationally ranked event. In the Girls 16-18 Lindsey Burkhart jumped out to a 4-shot lead over Laura Deleonardis and Susannah Grunden after firing a 78. The Boys 12-15 saw Charley Graves and Taylor Moore battling it out at the top of the leader board shooting 72 and 73 respectively narrowly ahead of Jens Talbert and Kirk Williams who both shot 73. Only one shot separates Mary Cathryn Rau and Maggie Neece in the Girls 12-15. Daniela Fuentes made the trip up from The Woodlands and holds down the third spot.
