Working with its partner, TK Elevator (TKE), DIMO’s contract calls for the installation of 23 elevators, 14 escalators and four moving walks. The VT will be installed in a new international passenger terminal building with more than 78,000 m2 of space capable of accommodating up to 7.5 million passengers per year. DIMO and TKE entered into their partnership in 2018, when DIMO became sole distributor, installer and service provider in Sri Lanka and Maldives for TKE VT equipment. DIMO built its VT team by training workers at TKE Campus and, in the process, helped TKE build its market share in Sri Lanka.
