Welcome to Blue Valley, Nebraska! We are parking the Waverider and following the story of a promising new hero, Stargirl. Eight years ago, Jordan Mahkent promised his dying wife that he would complete his mission to create a New America with a better future for their son, Cameron. She tells him to destroy everyone who stands in his way. Unfortunately for William Zarick and his son, they both stood in Icicle's way and paid the ultimate price. Meanwhile, Courtney bonds with a few kids at school and convinces Pat to take-in Icicle. After witnessing Joey Zarick's death first-hand, Pat takes her to the headquarters for the JSA and she becomes determined to recruit new members to take-up the former heroes mantles.
